Looks like one of yesterdays buyers is selling for a small loss today. Can't help but think that before the month is out that investor will regret selling.

They are sizeable by Highway standards and at mid price. Usually you would say one Market Maker is supplying another with shares, but as there is only one that cannot explain it. Could it be major holders releasing a few to keep a lid on the sp.

I find it encouraging that the Board and Institutional Investors are buying in at 10 pence. It is not that they are saints, rather between them all they own most of the shares and watching each other. Also the old directors have in the main retained their holdings. Given the Market Cap and shares available there only appear to be a handful of Private Investors who are holding on to their shares. Only one market Maker and any trades move the sp. The slightest good news and it is likely to be explosive.

Usually all Brokers will charge more for a phone deal as it costs them more. That said you might consider changing your Broker. As non advisory i use Jarvis Investment. My view on the Banks are that they are both expensive and lack knowledge once you move past FTSE stocks.

Suggestion from mystic that DODS may be interested. Regardless of it ever turning from Rumour to Fact and with results due we may see a continuation of this rally short term.

On 3rd May it was stated an institutional investor provided a loan of �88K to Highway Capital. On 27th June Widman Asset Management provided a loan of �162K. Regarding the 3rd May announcement the evidence suggests it may have been Widman Asset Management who provided the loan. If so why leave �3k unconverted, also not clear if the further �162K is convertible, although i suspect it is. So many questions, but i reckon an answer is now close.

Acorn Minerals is a shell looking for an RTO. A new investor has appeared proposing to inject a sizable sum of money into the Company to gain a majority stake. That investor is also happy to pay a significant premium to the share price as it was prior to the statement of intent. It would suggest that investor already has a target in site. It may not happen, the investor may not have another company lined up, any such company may be rubbish. In summary Acorn Minerals is a risky investment. At this point the News looks to be good and as a high risk investment -if it works the rewards will be fantastic. Lets see what happens - maybe you can come back and say I told you so.

Doubt bloch has any agenda, just pointing out facts. You don't need to read the admission document. Mark Reilly's history and Fortes SP performance over the years show he will have the shirt off your back. BOS does not appear to have any substance and their management probably mirror Reilly in their objectives and ability. However if you think he is out to get the sp down no doubt you will be blaming him for your losses.

Now is the time to pick up shares whilst there is little interest. Having bought you may have years more to wait, cursing lost opportunities elsewhere. However given the pace of news so far this year I very much doubt it. More likely in a few weeks/months you may be commending your acumen in buying when you did.

Have held two small parcels since they were issued. Added 10K at just under 3 pence a few week ago, as a gamble, now wishing i'd been bolder. Anyway happy to say it should show a very respectable gain over a short period on a small stake.

What struck me was that today's 25K sell was 22 pence as against yesterdays 21.5 pence.

Is it perhaps a large holder providing a miniscule portion of his/her holding to help the MM. No doubt MM has or will return the favour another time.

I've just picked up some at 18 pence having paid 25p+ yesterday Puzzled if someone has paid 23p. Perhaps it will bounce back with a vengence.

This is a sizable company and million pound plus trades are frequent. That said i think today they have been shaking out the nervous. That uncrossing trade of almost £6.5 million suggests to me a gentle move up ahead.
