Pleased to see accounts filed. Buying into a cash shell is always sizable risk against possible extreme gain. So just a case of sitting back and forgetting about this investment, with the hope one morning I will wake to fantastic news.
Cyberhawk are doing everything Strat Aero, under the old Management failed to do. As a Private Company they do not have the listing costs of an Aim Listed Company. That said, looking at their accounts for the year up to 31st March 2017 I see they made a loss of 576k. They may already be moving into profit, most new companies lose money in the early years. Both companies are in the same market currently. I was fortunate not to hold shares in Aero until very recently and am looking at this as a turnaround and by definition extremely risky. They could be about to expand in this market or even exit it altogether.
Looking back I see that Blakeway were purchased by Ten Alps (Zinc) as far back as 2004. The Reef purchase completed on 14th July 2015, with Tern following on 14th November last year. I don't know if Reef hit their targets on earn out. Then we have a new ex CEO of Tern. So at least three people, including Zinc's CEO who are used to running their own companies. Let's hope the two now remaining are making the right moves and Richard Farmborough is leaving purely because he fancies a change.
10000BC - Recent research indicates living in mud huts and caves, when available, results in increased respiratory disease, with an average life expectancy of 33 years. However we can congratulate ourselves on being green.
I don't think anyone denies that the Plant at Hemerdon, will in time, with the rise in the price of Tungsten and other metal's, have a profitable future. However it looks likely that the project will need refinancing. If you are extremely wealthy and have the contacts, no doubt in such an event you will be able to average down and a few years down the line make an absolute fortune. If you are like me, in this situation I would find my investment worthless, a fraction of a penny at best. I am fortunate not to hold, if it's any consolation I have lost on many other investments. I watch as at some point in the future I might invest, certainly not now. You may say i am missing a golden opportunity, I disagree, as i believe the risk to great right now.
This share has been one of the dog's of Aim and is by definition extremely high risk. As you say to date there has been no real business, more of a lifestyle business for Directors. Have you considered, with all the recent changes, there may be a major change in direction shortly. One which might breach your 0.07 ceiling.
The condition or period of an animal or plant or share spending the winter in a dormant state. Could we at last be about to see some activity. https://twitter.com/VillageOTYear
Investors have bought in frequently last year and many have sold again at a loss following disappointing news. Reckon this time buying is muted and any positive news will have a dramatic effect.
Does Ashley Calder MacKenzie have only 1.3 million shares left. Looks like the last two 1.6 million sells were probably his. Despite the greed of Management highlighted by yesterdays announcement we could be about to see some upward lift in sp. Fingers crossed.
