I didn’t post that for admiration, just a simple case of it’s hard to continue to apologise for the gain.

My friend today, a very left wing socialist, suggests it’s a bad thing (still love him though). And all the calls I made, and wasted valuable time, suggesting oil being way less than the $100 mark for obvious reasons that then accelerate the RR price.

I’m in no way an egotistical narcissist. Hence the reason I suggest on my blog that I don’t give a “rats ass” if people follow my train of thought or don’t.

I’ve had a similar conversation with a friend of mine over a couple of Morretis this afternoon, and I feel myself apologising for calling it - which I’m no longer willing to do.

So instead of apologising all the time, I’m going to own it.

Yes, I did call the raise back on 2020 at the sun £1 level through an understanding of core Rolls Royce business, opportunities and post Covid reality.

And I’m proud I did so.

It doesn’t make me an egotistical narcissist, it means I’m astute with a very obvious business destined for that 70bln MCap.

So whilst I battered the neighsayers making penny profits at 85p, I stuck to my guy and I’ll continue to do so.

I’m not an economic genius, I’m a cat. And this has been the most obvious increase I’ve ever witnessed since I’ve been investing.

Well done to the LTH. Regardless of your knowledge, age or demographic, (as I’ve said many times before) “This is a £7 share come Feb 2025 - everything until then is fodder”.

With my holding, if I get £7 (Feb 2025) then I’m mortgage free. But yes, is it wise to cash in on that goal? Knowing it’s going further north?

… and as rightfully pointed out by PEAK, the lack of divs, the lack of SMR confirmation and the lack financial update to include AUKUS et al suggests a £2.90 SP is way short of what it should be.

I’m amazed people even think about selling, let alone shorting RR.

In my humble opinion, Cev is close to spot on with this revelation.

I’ve heard, through sources that Tufan as obviously heard from, that the SMR full contract is with RR SMR Ltd.

If you were GE, Holtec, EDF et al, and you heard the UK government gave 200m+ in match funding to their a company in their own country, you’d smell a rat. Be honest. Think about it.

UK Gov are simply keeping options open and are rightfully enabling all competitors to show what they can do.
