I got in at 0.09p and my gut told me this would rise (loved the idea of Lithium back then).

I love to see people suggesting this will "explode" with nothing other than a crystal ball.

Highest it's ever been. I've read there are no bounds to its rise. Hence my investment at this very high time.

Seem's to know no limits at the moment - even a spread bet (which I never do, or will advise) seems to be a good thing at the moment.... it's as north as housing.

I have to agree with the morals on this one - purchase of businesses that involve family (wives etc).

With that announcement of purchase today, I'd expect a big rise - and it was a loss.

Not 100% sure on GST to be honest - but it's on the radar.

I'm still looking around at other shares whilst the RR get's to £7 come Feb 2025 (obvs) and I'm struggling to find anything other than what I already hold.

Then someone pointed out Gold. At an all time high but will continue to rise (so I've been told).

Let's give that a punt as well then.... £1.5.k in at 2025.

Again, I hope you did the right thing a few days ago Kewjosh - but for all this following your posts of shorting, it might be a good idea to discuss the potential/actual losses your short at 273p have made?

Hopefully it might turn them off to 'making a quick buck or two' when a share of this magnitude is only going north (based on basic research).

Yes Hutchies, you can do that to double the CGT allowance.

Absolutely and categorically no way of selling an un shelled share (one not within an ISA or SIP, PEP etc) without paying the CGT.

Only way forward is to sell your shares up to the current 23/24 £6k gains and invest in ISA/SIP/PEP etc straight away.

Do that in tranches every financial year to pay zero CTG.

Obviously, all depends on how much gain you have made to decide how long that will take.

Otherwise, bite the bullet and pay the CGT due.

Looking like a FTSE gain today Kewjosh so that will continue the raise for RR. Guessing a 287-288 finish today leading to a 290-291 end of week finish.

I hope you do/have done the right thing.
