My view and I maybe wrong is that Poolbeg have had a freebie for a short period to help flesh out there pipeline with some novel candidates for exploration in phase one and two. Once poolbeg is cash generative either via onward asset license or sale ie polb001 to bigger pharma then further access will cost and be payable to DIM. DIm may themselves need to pay a fee to Hvivo or any cro that acquires them to get new data on new models they introduce however if open orphan hold say 20% of DIm on books then that may solve this. That's a big assumption but most plausible way of ensuring all keep happy. There maybe other companies, maybe start ups , diagnostic companies like Roche, Abbott or an other and uni spin outs that may use the biorepository at hvivo / DIm to develop or verify new assays etc. Happy to wait on DIM if done right , no biggy I feel those getting Ansty on this are wanting to exit open orphan at earliest and they are frustrated and are short-term rather than long term holders. Equally happy if open orphan stays independent for a while yet before being taken out in 2 to 3 years.
