Pricing going up will certainly help margins, rsv and covid generally have no competition but flu is offered in a few more place. Ditto malaria. We would need to be careful as the lower margin stuff bolsters the critical mass and adds data and experience into the pot protecting the moat. Capturing malaria and flu without losing money or making a smaller profit would be highly strategic in making challengers maybe exit market or hamper their own expansion. Hvivo need to be seen to be go to people of first choice. margins will follow on that . Exciting times!

That's not horrendous buy in, assume bought in close to when CF last bought in. Not sure I would be wetting the bed on that buy in. Think you need to learn some patience chap. Buy price below broker target price by a good way. Biotechs all suffering over last 6 months and market macros at play. Get yourself a ftse tracker and a couple of US wide market etfs and switch off, don't think single share investing is for you. Started to deliver unlocked spin outs -CF did that see poolbeg. Expand product range- CF did that see malaria challenge and corona challenge. Deliver new contracts CF did that too. So what do you think you could do better exactly. Macro events at play, biotech suffering maybe more than others not sure CF can do much about that. Imutex, PrepBio and maybe a data spin out still in play - these taking longer than maybe we would all like but again doing these right is more important than doing it quickly. Cash on books to weather storm and a pretty a high reputation in pharma for challenge studies and these will be front and centre in quicker delivery of new agents and vaccines. Key to smaller pharma in the funding structure and capital raising process as they get data earlier meaning they can leverage funding on better terms to take through later phases or increase milestones payments or upfront licences. Open orphan Will likely be acquired once the penny drops on reliable recurring business it can secure and larger full service CRO will likely be its home. As I have previously posted, unhappy with the company then sell especially if you see no future value here. I would say Poolbeg is beginning to motor very nicely as per per CF and JS promises. Can tick the box on additional assets, work on existing assets to move them forward being done as promised and a route to further income on grants and.assets sales being highlighted. Decent looking pharma for the money. Kind of hope there is some exits from.inpatient traders when unlocked. Will happily buy their shares and increase my holding, a decent risk reward here for me I feel. Polb001 asset could be a real gem. If the Lps study shows that polb001 actively.reduces infammatory response to lipo polysaccharide then things get rather exciting. For those non microbiologist or immunologists it would mean potentially polb001 would help in acute sepsis, long covid, flu and covid severity management. It could end up being a blockbuster. A decent upfront and decent milestones. Then oral vaccine platform is very exciting too, could be really useful in the packaging of vaccines for dysentery and diarrhoea diseases in low income countries which may avoid many deaths. It could help package vaccines for Norovirus, in UK alone many days.lost due to d and v even when shortterm. The polb2 asset could if worked up be an over the counter or prescribed drug during winter to prevent respiratory infections in clinically vunerable or elderly where vaccine isn't available or reduced efficacy. Personally think these are really well thought out assets with a great use case. Rarer infections such as meliodosis would likely be funded by grant work by ngo or government bodies like barda, will bolster balance sheet to fund the p1 and p2. The euro fins sequencing and potential machin learning/ai data crunch for rsv challenge material could throw up maybe several targets for use in rsv vaccine or specific antiviral pathway, again another potential in house generated asset. This is not a short term play but rewards here could be really decent if you sit on your hands and do nothing for a number of years. Too many here with attention span of gnat.

I think regulators for 2nd or 3rd gen corona and maybe any flu/rsv will push for an accelerated approach but I think parallel testing across all phases is unlikely to be allowed. However events can over take. A novel variant flu of concern would likely see panic again and traditional flu vaccine has a ceiling of production capacity and some of this may be currently being used for corona. OO will do well in its place in accelerated approvals for sure. A universal flu vaccine , an rsv vaccine and universal corona vaccine a preventer polb2 or prep1 and severe disease inhibitor polb1 and other antivirals to come would be likely.well received if they work. Maybe some here are new to pharma investment timeframes and the high attrition rate that eats into success of assets reaching market.

Agree. mRNA is being shown as the preferred hot money choice but nothing wrong in old school proven vaccine design and long-term view may flip back . Lot to like about imutex assets but pharma has fashionable views like many other areas of investment. I think if conserve had a pan corona in same format as flu-v even as an early candidate it would definitely be more saleable. My 800k OO hold was all about the core business and any spin outs really are icing for me DiM could be great or bang average. The core business if or when sold will do me right for many years. However very happy with polb for long term and kind of hoping this share does suffer from unlocking and hits 5p or below as would be keen to add considerably more at a discount to get to maybe 1 or 2.milloon shares in poolbeg. My timeline on poolbeg is +5years not 5 minutes. If Orph gets acquired at 50p, we have poolbeg, a special holding vehicle, maybe DiM and maybe prep as assets today be add another 5 to 10p per share equivalent I would consider that an amazing investment. I think some here have a skewed perception of long term which for me is >5yrs not 2yrs

I think I would be happy for our share of imutex be parked in a specialist listed vehicle with just enough capital to cover future administrative needs and listing costs outside of open orphan. We hold 1 :1 and maybe a mill on balance sheet and sit it out. It might get traded to death but unless the majority holder can move conserv forward into a liquidity event and get listed not much else will unlock value on imutex as it stands. If that scenario played out I wouldn't be disappointed and would likely hold as long term opportunity. Unsure what kind of mcap that 49% would look like in current market. The Prep asset is.more likely to generate some value but again will need challenge study ideally with covid to really generate interest in onward sale. Top end with hcs data would be 65% of 30 or 40mil as again decent p3 study needed.

In my opinion the world has taken eye off flu and I believe it will come back with a vengeance. Flu historically has caused major death toll in those that covid barely touches. I think it would take a major flu season to wake everyone up to the value of universal flu vaccine to a point that wish to open wallets to acquire p3 ready asset. We won't get a major flu outbreak until everyone back working in close proximity, lockdowns in Eastern countries where flu is often seen first as a new variant or season starting point are over and mask wearing is much rarer. The lower the flu prevalence the larger the p3 and therefore longer and more expensive the p3 is needed to be to get accurate data to say it works sufficiently to make a difference. Imutex flu v is very derisked at this point but still a large hurdle to jump.

If only that were true. All vaccines need a wider population based study to ensure protection seen in hand picked well volunteer's is replicated and is acceptable. Also as we see with covid vaccines having a macro level view on wider safety does throw up rarer potential safety issues that would need to be flagged and recorded. Those might not preclude sale hut may curtail some patients. All vaccines likely to clear initial safety in phase 1 or 2 but some rare events have been shown over the years as potential risk. Fda,mhra,ema will not approve anything without phase 3 and phase 4 surveillance after market ensure continued safety. This phase 4 has led to drugs being removed after a number of years.

Ricky, the flu vaccine has already had a challenge study. The large scale phase 3 is what's needed next to complete the work needed to launch as an approved product. Will need decent cash to do that and a normal.level of winter flu to get the required data.

The ags-v vaccine candidate is not a malaria vaccine per se so a malaria challenge study would show failure. The vaccine is against mosquito saliva to reduce likelyhood of malarial parasite and other mosquito born pathogens like zika or dengue. It won't make you make anti malaria antibodies. Needs a field trial really as challenge study wont give you data on absolute malarial protection. The flu vaccine is done as far as challenge studies goes but will need a field study and that is the expensive sticking point for anyone taking these assets on. Malaria prob will be tackled more directly with vaccine against plasmodium parasite which causes malaria. However a vaccine of this type paired with AGSv would help reduce infecting mosquito population and offer two-pronged approach with benefits in some protection against other mosquito borne disease. Flu vaccine is best asset if funding there for field trials and worth a lot but mRNa vaccines seem to be getting the press and where money is being spent. I will be pleased if we got 50mill cash for our share but asset worth more but getting that extra will be a bit of luck I think and need stars.lining up. 50mil roughly 8p a share if maths right???

Not sure JS had done anything wrong here and is being pretty shabbily treated. Has brought in 2 new assets, got access to tech to help bring on potentially orally delivered vaccines. Started data dive on rsv challenge samples for new druggable targets for potential treatments. Polb001 has roadmap to potential value unlocking data in late 2022. Is.much more circumspect in delivery of vision that CF yet still being moaned at. Whole market is down and risk off at moment. Not aware that POLB is trying to raise capital so a depressed shareprice won't affect that at moment. Lock will be a problem if you want to sell and realise value now but not sure what JS can do if market doesn't see value in recent newsflow which has been decent. Would be interested to see what armchair ceo advice is put forward to improve things for poolbeg. This is pharma development not service and things take time, have some patience.
