Meanwhile Russia oil exports are growing by the day lol, I’m guessing most of that was scripted, at least he took the time to write back. Hopefully something gets mentioned with the right people and the admin team can drag this out and not let us get taken out
Thank you for contacting me concerning the international sanctions imposed on Russia and the effect this is having of UK investors. I am sorry to hear you say your savings have been affected by these actions.
As I am sure you know, in response to Vladimir Putin ordering the illegal invasion of Ukraine, the UK Government and its international allies have imposed the most severe and coordinated package of sanctions Russia has ever faced. In terms of financial services, this includes sanctioning Russia's Central Bank, banning the Russian State and all Russian companies from raising funds in the UK, freezing the assets of all Russian banks and shutting off Russian banks' access to the global financial system by blocking access to SWIFT.
These measures, along with our wider package of sanctions coordinated with allies, are having damaging consequences for Putin’s ability to wage war. Analysis shows Russia is heading for the deepest recession since the collapse of the Soviet Union, as estimates for its GDP growth in 2022 now range from -8.5 to -15 per cent. In the longer term, expert predictions suggest a continuing economic hit, with GDP growth depressed as the country is cut off from Western technology and services.
As a country committed to free trade and shared global prosperity, we should take no pleasure in these sobering statistics. However, I believe that by threatening the peace of Europe with a major and unprovoked war, Russia has left us with little alternative.
I am also acutely aware that the damage inflicted on the Russian economy has consequences outside the region, including on private investors here in the UK.
I am afraid I am unaware of any schemes by the UK Government to compensate investors who have been adversely affected by the sanction regime. If you would like more information about these sanctions how they may affect you and your business, I would recommend contacting the Foreign Office’s sanctions unit at sanctions@fcdo.gov.uk. I will also raise this issue with my Ministerial colleagues, during the course of my regular meetings with them.
Thank you for taking the time to write to me.
Kind regards
Alan

Better still to just organise a cva, and get back to trading
Great post
This is what I’m saying the debt can’t be paid whoever gazpromvank transfer it to. It’s now going to be a while in administration and then a relist once sanctions abide
I think we need 190 million to get to 5%, let’s keep collecting total holdings of all private shareholders. Go from there, I think reaching out to ministers is the right path at the no but not sure
Noted
I guess we’ll see, I saw it as a buying opportunity, I must be stupid then.
Yes, I remain hopeful and positive always, like you say gold still being sold domestically so the cashflow isn’t a problem, just need to find a way to move money into the plc without hitting sanctions
We could just switch to the Moex and hold our shares there? I’d settle for that rather than wipeout
I’m still going to carry on with gathering support through shareholders, it’s the very least we can do, I’ve emailed the admin team and my mp, nothing received yet but will keep posting to as many relevant parties as I can. Good times ahead hopefully
Thanks everyone for coming forward, thumbs up. MPs and those in power need to see the money that’s going to get lost because of their illegal sanctions, which is just handing more money back to Russians
Will tally up again tonight, ideally 190million 5% then somebody might listen.
A CVA is what would be most desirable here, not sure if ummc would accept as it appears they are the ones who triggered the admin. Luckily we are at the mercy of the administrators who will firstly look to paying creditors but possible look for alternative options. Waiting game now
Not sure what action we can take? I’ve emailed them to ask for a proper audit and valuation of the assets. Also that we feel no sale should take place while sanctions are in place, because of third party rules that would essentially break sanctions. And so on
Current count 91.95 million that’s everyone lse telegram Moex etc.
I’m going to email max and see if he can point me toward a point of contact for the admin team
Once we’ve collated all private shareholdings maybe it’s worth getting it across to the admin team, not that it’s going to achieve a anything but it’s certainly worth pointing out to them that there’s a hell of a lot of people here who could/may help this company move forward if the my needed to raise funds etc,
Defo need the calculator tonight lads need em coming
We’ve got potentially 12 months for the admin to sort through stuff, can’t imagine this will be rushed through with so many moving parts etc. who knows an update on proceedings will no doubt follow
