In terms of directors buying shares, they can do so at certain times and are disclosed via the RNSs.

@Dplanview a TR1 form is a standard notification document used in the UK for notifying major shareholdings and voting rights to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the relevant stock. It is required whenever an investor's voting rights cross specific notification thresholds (starting at 3%).

Oh well @Gaztop49 the price didn’t drop. Still time for @Shls3834 to be right about 11.50 on Tuesday and @theoilbarron just missed out on the 16-17p being tested today, although nearly as 15p was being tested. @maddogmcree its to do with the Takeover Panel rules. That is a very common question and Google said it's a key part of understanding UK market mechanics. The reason you see so many Form 8.3 RNS announcements is that they are mandatory legal disclosures required by the UK Takeover Panel during a takeover offer, and they cover even small daily trades. Look up for more info if you want further detail.
