Could also be a Bed and Pension to take advantage of any capital gains allowances which have been reduced (may not have any with this stock), as new Bed and ISA investment limited to £20K per tax year, not so with Bed and Pension but limited to earnings and also certain limits. Could also be just someone selling stocks within an Investment ISAs and leaving the cash proceeds within the ISA to buy other stocks, or to see if the existing share price falls in order to buy more shares. Caution note, if price goes up then obviously less shares are bought. Most Investment ISA providers utilise flexible ISA rules but not all. Seek professional advice if in doubt.
