In the ‘olden days’, you would have had 20 plus comments re a RNS but alas, excitement has diminished.

Lesh11, care also required because when you sell shares and ISA wrap these, there can be a difference in the price when said broker or platform has to sell the shares in say a dealing account and buy back into an ISA. This could cost you if the shares you sell are at a lower price than when you buy shares to invest within the ISA (you could also gain if price drops between transaction). Speak to your platform provider to see how they operate their ISA wrapping process. I have done this in the past by transferring cash to my ISA and buying shares so I know the price I am buying then replenish my cash by selling shares in my dealing if required. It did cost me a further dealing fee but the fee is worth knowing what price I am getting for my peace of mind.

You would pay CGT on gain above your allowance if you sell shares which are not within an ISA.

I think they should ask the MG for a list of all the permits required before issuing another RNS. It is like permit roulette currently. One chamber says FA, go and make your shareholders some money and happy.

I believe the market will think after the previous updates that there are more delays. Hope I am wrong as I have been a LTH for over 6 yrs. just don’t understand why they didn’t request construction permit many, many months ago. Appreciate your comment Accountant but come on, if you know you need a permit ask for one early. Some good comments overall this morning but I am very frustrated re continued delays after so many years of waiting. And no, good things come to those who wait doesn’t cut it.

Meetings are scheduled before the end of July with the industry regulator, the Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia (MRPAM), and with PetroChina's in-country management team to finalize details of the cooperation agreements required to allow Petro Matad to access PetroChina's oil processing facilities, transport and oil sales infrastructure.

. It is planned to install and commission the surface facilities during the current operational window and the approval process for the construction permit required for installation of the facilities is at an advanced stage.

Discussions with PetroChina and industry regulator, the Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia (MRPAM), on processing, transport and sales of Block XX production are continuing. The sharing of facilities is covered under an MoU signed with PetroChina in 2021 and is fully supported by MRPAM.

Just get on with it and sign everything you need in one meeting please. No more hold ups as I have been waiting far too long.
