Hi Lazypunter, Thanks for that. We may have struck lucky on the lawyer though since it was she who put a halt to proceedings and said, "Hey, this registered property doesn't match up with that being sold. Please explain!" The agent then had to dig a bit deeper and.. Bob's your uncle.

We are still keeping an eye on it though because we have now been told, today, that the licence for the extension should come through in thirty days. That takes it ever nearer the MRE. :) Let's see if a bit of paperwork 'drilling' brings this mini Scallywag up to scratch.

Which is all very well until you want to sell your house to an Englishman decades later. Oh well! Let's hope that is the only Scallywag duster eh!

Hi Morningsun, No I am not a surfer. I tried years ago and it was amazing but I never mastered it. I am a bit scared of the sea to be honest, having nearly drowned in it when I was a kid. However, I can appreciate the skill and daring needed to ride those huge waves.

Just polished it off Enrico. Lady Mush made it. I scoffed it. I told her to memorise the recipe because it was very, very tasty. :)

Ah Dodge if only I could post up a pic here. Nazare in 22c. Beautiful coastline. Massive waves crashing in. Coffee by the harbour. Back now to have a soup made with a weird vegetable (chayote) that looks like a pear, turnip leaves, carrots, onions. garlic and fresh bread to accompany. Plus a glass of wine that makes everything look great. Thanks for the post there. Good reminder. We are damn lucky!

So anyway, the RNS was very good and the share did not respond as it should. I've been out all day and didn't keep up with it. In a way it doesn't matter. Unless people needed the money immediately to realise the value in the share, this is simply an odd reaction. Maybe the general malaise affecting the markets could account for the lack of movement. I shall be waiting along with other numb-handed holders.

Well strudel, we got there and stood amongst a throng of surf groupies, Quite an experience watching these monster waves crashing in to one another , 'tombstoning' anyone who got it wrong. (Although I didn't see any get 'washing-machined' to be fair). The most amazing thing of all is, after we had left the beach and were strolling along the harbour wall, we got interviewed by the same two French dudes who had recorded the big wave ridden by Garrett McNamara and the one currently doing the rounds on facebook! I couldn't remember his name frustratingly but it doesn't matter. They chose us! I'm not sure when we will be famous but I guess after they have finished editing the video we will naturally have starring roles, of course.

I told you it was all a sign and look how the share took off!

Buster Scruggs is excellent and frankly I don't see how anyone can invest in a gold share until they have seen it. I've watched it three times but then I am a bit of a film buff.

Tomorrow we have decided to visit Nazare. A convergence of Atlantic storms and the resultant surge has increased expectations for massive waves, the like of which have never been seen before. The surfers are getting ready for it and when you think that the world's biggest surfed wave was 100ft...at Nazare, as it happens, it's going to be potentially incredible event.

It's a sign!! A sign I tell you!!!

Something that sums up our collective mood perhaps. Maybe a feeling that will be replicated when lockdown finishes for good. For the moment let us enjoy this fantastic journey for the eleventh time/
