Condor, if you had been lucky enough to buy a 70% ownership in a Rolls Royce for 1p and the owners said you could have full ownership for 40p, would you begrudge paying it, even when it was parked in your backyard?

Now your biggest task will be to fight the curiosity TallChap. The new system only allows you to visit the chat while logged in, so you can't see which bone-head is causing all the disruption. I've spent some wasted minutes on occasion, temporarily unblocking people on my list to find out which one is the culprit. Time I will never get back again.

If we ignore all theories on takeovers, ceo changes and major movements in the price of gold etc. there must be a 'most likely' scenario for the future of GGP. We can condense that into guessed share prices at different stages, but that is like giving an answer to an exam question without showing the workings. Even if we were to have a poll, for example, on the eventual moz of gold and gold 'equivalent' at Havieron, to be revealed over the next five years , what would be the most commonly occurring guess? (under 5, 5 to 10, 10 to 15 etc).

Even the guesses would be influenced by the very fact the only ones interested in taking part would be those already invested and thus the results would probably be affected by that bias. You couldn't give the results on here either because, knowing that, investors would probably guess high so as not to instill doubt in the minds of would-be or new investors who might read the results.

I suppose what I am getting at here is, it is impossible to guess whether a share is worth investing in because the most researched board members are the ones most interested in the success of the share. You would need a secret poll with secret access to the results, so people could safely give their opinion without prejudice.

Shame, I'd love to know what people TRULY believe is in the ground.

You will be holding more shares than me in a few weeks panama but I will still have two thirds of my stash left for a 'permanent' holding in the pension. We are getting a bit bored down here to be honest. Lockdown is upon us again. Lady Mush called me to the corner of the place we are staying in currently and demanded that we played draughts on the tiles, using all the shoes and slippers from the rack. In prepararion for my assumed consent there they were, already lined up on the floor, pointed against one another.

We moved them forward, one at a time, until they met in the middle in a kind of stalemate. "This doesn't see right somehow", I piped up. We then proceeded to argue about what the kings could do before checking the rules online. It transpired that we had been moving the shoes forward in a straight line, 'chess wise' instead of diagonally. Duuuh! By that time I was bored with it anyway so the shoes went back on the rack.

Coincidentally, I notice that Hurricane is being dropped from the msci index just as GGP is being added. (Dropped along with one or two other well known co's; Stobart, Saga).

Zoros...I can get it but I tried it on a trial in the Spring and found most of it tosh. We've already watched some old film on youtube this evening so...here I am again...sigh. Why got a recommendation?

It's been a pretty exhausting day for shareholders: A burst of excitement after several weeks of false starts. I imagine many are cooling down right now and watching TV maybe.

Glasto, you are asking board members to summarise the development of the GGP exploration program in such a way that you can make a considered decision about whether to make a further investment. It isn't that easy I am afraid. I'd suggest you pick a few highly rated contributors and read what they think from their previous posts. It might take you an hour or two but you will be well served to do so. Everyone here believes the share has a lot more mileage in it so you will undoubtedly get a biased opinion. Just bear that in mind before adding more shares to your portfolio.
