Yes, number 6 was very amusing. However, one thing to which it did draw attention was the amount of 'events' occurring between now and mid December. If things don't get announced soon and in timely fashion, there is going to be a complete logjam of stuff hitting the bulletin board. We won't be able to sleep for a couple of weeks!

Hi JC, If the Scally results have been very encouraging it seems completely logical to me that Newcrest would sit up and take more than a passing interest in proceedings. Equally, GGP needs a JV partner and who better than a company that is pulling out all the stops to get Havieron into production as soon as possible. Why go elsewhere? If it ain't broke don't fix it, as it were. The EM and drilling results could be delayed as a result of a hold ups at the lab but I don't buy that. I believe another JV is being calculated right now and we will find out more about it within the next few weeks. Very exciting stuff.

Thinking about GH's statement about 'looking after shareholders', I am wondering what that means precisely. I believe it means keeping shareholders informed about the progress the company is making towards the realisation of it's short, medium and long term objectives. This must surely be in the context of workload too. GH cannot spend all his time drafting up juicy, moral-boosting RNS' . I imagine he has some work to do too!

If the SP dips between company announcements, as it has a habit of doing, then that is a reflection of traders at work, funds for retirement, deposit needed for a car etc etc but surely, by anyone's take on this, those are funds being withdrawn before the castle has been built. None of the discoveries have been mined yet and the jewel in the crown, Havieron, has not been fully uncovered.

In the meantime, we should not be too concerned about the peaks and troughs of the sp if we are genuinely interested to see what has been discovered by GGP. Gervais will keep us informed as and when and we must be patient until that unfolds.

We took some time out from quaffing Chablis recently and visited a wonderful natural history museum near Ourem. The site is on a limestone escarpment and a set of dinosaur footprints have been revealed, which are now on public view.

We read the notice boards explaining how these footprints had been made, the imprinted soft rock sinking initially and then getting pushed closer to the surface, by seismic shift, to be revealed 175 million years later. (That's about the same age as Biden's great grandfather).

I felt quite 'learned' having been tutored by the eminent geologists who frequent this board and found myself nodding and muttering an appropriate number of 'uhuhs' and 'yes,yesses' as I followed these diagrams like an expert.

So, there is much to assimilate here on this board from the straightforward price of gold to understanding the magnificent beauty of the planet, much of which shines in a completely different way.
