Hi Dimvestor. Great to hear from you! I wouldn't have mentioned it had you not drawn my attention to wine but we are currently negotiating a price for Scallywag Cottage mk 2. Placed within a simply beautiful micro-climate, in the hills, this house has 1200 vines, all tended by the owner. As he showed us around his south-facing, gently sloping grounds, you can only imagine our cheruby faces as he placed the glasses of his wine in our hands and we tried this nectar. No chemicals and only the yeast from the grapes is used in the fermentation process. He told us the name of the two types of wine, one of which came from the first pressing and the second from the leftovers. The vineyard produces 2000 litres a year, which you needn't have questioned looking at his rosy cheeks and rotund body.

Methinks this might attract a few greatlanders, clearly intent on visiting for the micro-climate, of course.

Here in Portugal, it is more common place to have Bacalhau for Christmas. This is a kind of fish dish made with salted fish (a traditional food before refrigerators were available). I haven't quite worked that one out since it is eaten all the time anyway. We, on the other hand, have placed our order for turkey at the local butchers. Apparently, they have two types; the first is the usual one that you are still putting into curries in February and another, which looks like the last turkey in the shop (will never forget the Black Adder Goes Forth 'painting' scene), but is actually a smaller breed. We've gone for the latter. The only other names on the butcher's list were English. That figures! Blimey, it's only nine days and several sp gains to go before we collect it.

What a year hey guys? Talk about chalk and cheese. 2020 will hardly go down as a fantastic year for the world but for us and many of our fellow shareholders, a very successful year. Certainly has been for me. From despair in March to a huge smile in December.

Tom, I still think we will see the Swag results before Christmas. Pure guesswork ,but surely the labs will want to clear their desks before the Christmas break and they have had these for weeks now.

Morning sun, I don't trade either but frustratingly sold 50k shares to fund the deposit on a house at 22.3, literally a day before the price shot up grrr. More frustrating because the house purchase fell through! Anyway, I managed to get back in to the 29's today so it makes up for it to some degree. My friends are placing trades as money becomes available to them and I suggested leaving it to a drop of 28p. Hope they did!

MorningSun, they won't read your post. There is no point in fighting it. I forecast to my friends that the share would drop to 28p and that that would be the time to buy. I've learned in life that there are many, many people who invest in shares and a good number who do not think much at all. So be it.
