I must admit, I'm a duffer at interpreting these grades to a point where I can say "Ok that has added a probable 'x' amount of tons of gold and copper to the MRE". Anyone care to have a stab at it?

I've got a great idea on that table MrEMC2. Since we are unlikely to breach 36.9p by Friday, unless they have found something very special indeed, it can be amended to every two months, or three if it remains a bit flat!

I can't say I didn't get a little excited about the little chuckle from GH during the second to last interview he gave. Pending Scally results were mentioned by the interviewer and GH gave a little chuckle before explaining that there might be some delay before they were available for Greatland to announce publicly. As it happens, the results did not show they had drilled right through a gold nugget, so it was taken very badly by a hyped-up market containing many thousands of small investors.

What GH DIDN'T do was give a kind of, "Oh yeah..*gulp*...about them..yeah..um ok" type of response to the interviewer. I take it from that reaction that the results are in accord with a planned exploratory drilling campaign and he was not unduly concerned about the initial readings, (not all of which have been published anyway of course).

Too late! The sky is falling! Down went the sp like an avalanche. Well let's see where it is a year from now.

We have all four variants of the covid here so the streets resemble something out of a Clint Eastwood movie, just before the baddies come into town. Can't do anything really. Just go walking or cycling and look at this screen every day while watching some dreadful TV series on netflix. I checked to see if the UK gov site had news about letting people in from Portugal now but there was just a picture of a bloke holding a cross in front of him.

That is true Auakidd. However, I have the sneakiest feeling that this time there will not be a fall if the results are positive. It looks like the share price has been somewhat suppressed over the last weeks or so, maybe to fulfil some large order. That being the case, the higher price could hold. I hope so anyway!

Toonarmy..there is a set of drilling results being announced later this evening from Newcrest, concerning Havieron. If they follow the pattern of all previous results they will be positive and give us a clearer idea of the guality of the deposits and maybe whether they have finally found the outer reaches of the leviathion!

Hi Josh, This is just a 'covering their backsides statement'. NCM have yet to complete all stages of investment in Havieron. The strong likelihood though, is that they will continue until a full 70%/75% ownership has been reached and the formal feasibility report issued.

Anyway, this Havieron mine. Any good? What's the betting that we get a good set of results and the share will try and go up?

Haha. Very good Groovejet. Actually , I am terribly pedantic about grammar. There might be a film on TV, that I am not really watching, and some character might say, "So when would be the best time to try and rob the bank?" Without looking up I will say, "try to" and carry on reading.

It's like a mini-campaign and a solo storming of Capitol Hill. If I had said 'try and' at school, the English teacher would have (not of) gone bonkers. The only time you could use 'try and' (which means the attempt has a forgone conclusion of success) might be perhaps, 'Biden is going to try and get some extra votes shipped in to win the election'. :)

I seems to me that we are all beginning to get some hairline cracks in our sense of well being. If this damn lockdown wears any thinner it will be like the Emperor's new clothes. It manifests itself by way, perhaps, of more critical posts between board members.

I'm happy to read the messages every day but the change in at atmosphere is palpable. We really need a juicy set of Havieron results this week to lift the mood.

If it doesn't reach 37p by the end of the month it will be the first time in a year that the sp on the last trading day did not better the previous month's. We have got to go some to achieve that this month but it would be fantastic to keep the record going. Plus increasing my perceived pile of dosh too of course.

bernard, Every set of NCM drilling results from Havieron has been positive. I think this will be the thirteenth set coming up. (Think I am right in saying the eleventh set increased the anticipated resource by 50%). I do not believe that the fact these will be the thirteenth set will stop this run of good luck. :)

Or Tom, it could be the drilling results are so good they might say. "OMG! We have sent the drills so far down we can now suck up the lovely gold there as a liquid using Callum's vacuum cleaner!!"
