RE: Always medium to long term1 Mar 2021 10:04
We try to be rational people and make decisions that are based upon facts and the extension of those facts, which would probably described as judgement.
The facts about GGP have been carefully researched by a fantastic group of learned investors here. That research includes links to interviews with senior management as well as the dissection, into layman's terms, the data contained within formal company announcements, (including those from Newcrest).
These facts, so ably assessed, should have provided sufficient information for all of us to feel very comfortable with our decision to risk our capital. We are invested in an historic discovery at Havieron. It's mind-blowingly huge and everyone wants a piece of it for the cheapest price they can get it.
Doesn't it seem a bit odd that at precisely the time when the value of the mineral wealth, still contained within the site at Havieron, starts to become blindingly obvious to the general market that the share price should descend by 40%? This is the judgement bit. Would you not think that perhaps those whose business it is get a share price moving up or down would do their level best to feed fear or greed as it suited them?
The mineral wealth is there as well as, potentially, at several other sites. Do not be fooled. Hang on to the seatbelts, hands firmly planted and wait for this to blast off again!
