I swear, if we get a load of whiney comments from non-regulars about not being able to buy on the day the sp surges, which it will soon enough, I will need to be held back. Such traders are virtually worthless to the share since hardly any will stick.

Agree with these sentiments. Atm I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas Day to arrive. The added frustration is I don't actually know what day it is. Could be tomorrow. Could be in six months. All I know is there something shiny glowing through the wrappers.

Hi lazypunter, interesting thoughts there. I'm going to be generally away from Stroud and down in Wiltshire for a while. A friend asked me today if I had sold any ggp shares when I was enthusing about the prospect last September. I told him that I hadn't and while that may have been a mistake, obviously hindsight is a wonderful science.

As it happens, I am still 100% invested in ggp and am intent on riding out the current flatline until this races well above 38p. Yesterday, I watched, as did many, the enthusiastic interview with Sandeep Biswas. Seriously, does anyone really have the slightest concern that Havieron is not going to be a massive, Tier 1 asset? 3.4m oz will be history soon. We will have crossed the 5m oz barrier and sailed right past it.

I have absolute faith is in this company and that the investment is a winner. :)

Yes, I see what you mean and thank you for your good wishes, returned of course. I am still very certain of eventual major success with ggp. Anything from five to ten times the current price within 18 months but only if the business potential gets re-absorbed by the market.

First part I agree with but not the second part. A friend of mine invested at 38p. What do I tell him more than I have told him many times that this is just a blip, a dope reflecting some sort of shenanigans etc etc.? He is 50% down and has watched that value sink away every single day for over four months.

I will try to tell him that it's ok. It's nothing to worry about, not even a stir. It's wearing a bit thin.

The conveyor would need to be 45 km long to cover the distance between Havieron and Telfer. I would have thought that this engineering work would have commenced by now if it was the preferred method of transport. It DOES seem like the most efficient way but as far as I know, it has not been mentioned as an option by NCM.

Hi Bully, happy to sit and wait but still surprised that the extent of drilling success, which was reflected in an sp that was based on 'expected' mineral resource, could fall back so. Maybe it is as you say and those seeking quick massive gains are floating around elsewhere.

So, I find myself back in the Stroud region dealing with some difficult family stuff and away from sunny Portugal for the foreseeable future. How life changes!

Last year, in lockdown, my spirits were kept up by a share price that continued to climb upwards and promised so much. This year it has been a battle to keep thinking positive thoughts when the combo of lockdown and declining sp battled to defeat me!

However, apart from some redistribution of shares between accounts, (isa type stuff etc) where naturally I mistimed 5 out of 6 and lost out) all is still intact. Everything is placed on GGP, like a pile of chips  glued to a felt table.

Nevertheless, I wonder what has pulled our share down from a high of 38p to this low bouncing 20 to 23p and for several months. We have lots of good technical people constantly informing us about the superb grades and expected tier 1 status of Havieron and the possible galaxy size deposits if any of the other tenements hit. We KNOW we have a winner here yet still the market pulls the sp down and it stays down. We have loads of theories but it still doesn't make any sense to me and I still feel truly perplexed. It SHOULD be moving shouldn't it??

( Off subject and on a lighter note, despite some of the heavy crepe I am dealing with, I have been busy writing comedy sketches to be performed at the forthcoming Stroud theatre show so thedoors, yellowstuff, redirons and all, I trust you might go to the event!!I will write one about gold methinks.)

I am having a real job appeasing one or two friends who have invested right up to the 30p zone that this will all come good. What makes it harder is that I can think of no clear reason why it is not climbing again. That's my problem, If I could find a hard and fast reason it would be easier to explain away.

Yes, thanks Bamps and Bottle for the broadcast. I am only half way through it and went off to work out what the potential mineralisation in Hav and Goliath might add to the sp. Unfortunately, my calculator only goes up to ten digits so I couldn't complete the exercise.

Hi SaS, What a party it would be! Sadly, we have had to come back to Blighty to deal with several family problems and the Portuguese dream has been left on hold. Such a shame but it was too darn difficult for us to stay down there under the circumstances and some harsh decisions had to be made. Getting out though, was no mean feat! It was like trying to escape from a Stalag, what with the paperwork and covid tests and bribes for border guards (not really). However ,it has cost a small fortune but we are back and coming out of quarantine today! Eureka.

Still glued to ggp every day and looking forward to the results later this week.
