I read a post on here but five minutes ago about voting rights for share issues, took a swig of coffee, refreshed the page, made to read the post again and it has gone! Faster than a speeding bullet!

Did anyone see any feedback from the Berenberg roadshow last week? It just seems to have happened but under the radar.

If you look back several months ago, when the share was on the rise, there were literally thousands of small purchasers spending no more than a few hundred pounds each. These people do not study the company or follow the board information as closely as we do. They see a constantly rising share and hook into it. Now they are selling because it is in the opposite mode. We HAVE to remind ourselves of what is on the horizon. It is so close I can see the burn from the rescue craft already.

Yes, of course it is affecting me too. Only this morning I woke up and shouted (profanities removed) "Oh.............. ........ shove ...... ........ ....... .... ............ piece.......... .......... ... again!" But soon everything will be ok and we will all be laughing.

Yellowstuff, Dare I say, I believe your poll is a bit flawed. If I start a thread saying I will not be increasing the isa holding this year, I might give the impression that I do not think it is worth it. Whereas, in fact, it is because I am fully loaded already and I otherwise certainly DO think it would be worth it.

However, it does lead me to suggest that, apart from any sneaky dealings that might be going on in the 'dark cesspit', it would seem likely that the new tax year might well encourage an sp rise as people load up their isas prior to making the three or fourfold increase we anticipate before April 2022.

Hi panama, Good luck with that. Well, I found it very cumbersome tbh. It took a week to go through the process even though I notified the bank in advance what I was planning to do. Three days for the share sale to complete to 'cash' that can be withdrawn but you could ask the broker to transfer it from the share dealing account to the isa account. Different for me because I was doing it from my account to a different person.

I don't like it anyway. Gives me collywobbles :)

I hate trading. I don't normally do it but had some jiggery pokery to deal with; selling some of mine last week, waiting for the funds to clear. transferring the cash to the bank, sending the lot to LadyMush for her 'late-implemented' isa, dealing with a slow bank transaction because the transfer was bigger than two and sixpence and buying all the shares back again at anything less or up to what it cost to sell. I managed it but it is not worth the loss of sleep is it? Not only that, within seconds of buying back in, the share price dropped.

I don't know how people do it. I thought it would be fun but it is too stressful. Young person's game in my book.
