Yeah right. :)
Interesting post btb. It reminds me of those pictures of t rex in the encyclopedias, next to a double decker bus for comparison.
What a colossus we have in this Havieron discovery.
As an example, somebody might post that they deciphered Shaun Day's eye flickering from side to side as morse code in the last interview and he was spelling ' TO on July 30'
Omg Dip! You saw it too. I thought I was the only one!
I stumbled across this article yesterday. It may have been posted before but it is a brief yet succinct description of the order of such studies and their importance to the project being considered.

Thank you zoros. I guess my question remains on timing. Is there a formal point where the estimate of cash costs per ounce gets calculated?
That should read 500k oz per year!
Would I be right in thinking that, provided Havieron seem highly likely to produce 500m oz per year, an updated MRE to over 5m oz would automatically upgrade it to a Tier 1? Or does this depend upon the location of the mine etc, regardless of the MRE, and therefore would be confirmed only by the PFS?
Too right zoros and well said.
(If you ever want to imagine what 7 grams feels like, stick an olive, or something of the same weight, onto one of those electronic kitchen scales and hold it in the palm of your hand. then think of a ton or rock beside you! That's how little comes from each lump). Quite enlightening.
It may have been an obvious matter but it was interesting to note from Bamps' comments that 2000 metres down is the maximum depth for an operation to be profitable. So even if Havieron continues to be 'open at depth', the rest must stay in Mother Earth. Quite a thought really.
At least it will give us a finite area to prove up for the future mres and avoid further speculation.
Thank you for doing that and sharing to the board lebugue. We really do need this reassurance from the company that things are progressing, as far as climate will allow, particularly after we have endured 'the dark ages' for months on end.
A nice post to finish the week!
Jerry..you could be right! At least I know it is not for all my money. Not until September anyway...
Hello Sab, Enough now. Your posting history is an endless sequence of questions! You hooked me. You even started to reel me in but I shook off the hook and am now hiding in the weeds. However, as a final answer to your last question; 2014. That's it!!
Yes Sab..that would have been it and it probably was 2011. Did you buy any?
Hi Sab, hell no. Whatever it was, it clearly caught my attention because I nearly clicked on it. I get the feeling it has some significance for you? Did you write the ad?? :)
Hi Sab, It would have been around 2010 I think. It was a funny little ad on the side window of the screen with a yellow background and a coin or couple of generic coins on display. That's all I can remember.
I'm reminded of the 'fortunes' that have slipped through my fingers. When bitcoin was first launched I was doing some arbitrage betting online and an ad appeared for them. I though, shall I buy ten quids worth? Nah and carried on. I attended a trade show about a year later and there was a bloke on a stand trying to get me to buy some. Nah..get lost, I thought.
I dread to think how many islands I could be owning right now if I had parted with that ten quid. :(
At least there is GGP and the lure of mega millions of gold on the horizon!!
Haha...nice one TT.
Exactly napthman. I'd love to see what SD's office looks like. I imagine a huge table, like they had in the war rooms, but instead of moving battalions around, he is formulating a drilling campaign.
(That must be a cue for some wag to use that Hitler bunker video that has been used a million times before on social media...)
Ah TMT..you just want jam on it :)
Hi Josh, I believe you are right for a discovery 'anywhere' but the odds are significantly lower than that when in a proven area/present infrastructure/keen experienced mining partners etc etc.
They are almost certainly higher than my 1 in 10 example too which was really to draw attention to attitude to risk. So yes, somewhere between one in ten and one in three thousand!
