It’s more the “GLA” that makes me laugh following posts about impending doom. I like to see it quiet today - rather contradicts one scaremongers predictions.

Forgive me Sharbel, but can you point me to where it says we raised by issuing "billions" of shares? From what I can see 416m shares will be admitted tomorrow, 24m of which are Halley and the rest, at least in my opinion, likely went to sticky insiders given it was a company arranged subscription.

I can really only think you are short here given your frantic scaremongering and false hyperbole.

And one last thing - I very much think the last raise was placed with insiders who are aware of everything, and the potential in particular.. I certainly do not think, as Sharebel would have us believe, that we are going to see a stock dump when the stock is admitted to trading.

All of it might also explain why the parties felt a £2m option price was reasonable. Of course there’s risk CIQ might fail, but for me £2m could turn out to be incredibly cheap.

And whatever, as exclusive licensee it is for GFIN/Halley to make it a success, and I really do believe Halley is the right man for it. He will have known all this was coming months and months ago, during which time he’s stripped out all the deadwood, positioned the company to target it, and ensured his sole financial reward is directly linked to share price appreciation.

-0M Tech was incorporated in 2023 by Erol Soyer, with 1 ordinary share that he owned.

-Soyer then posted about the launch of a new venture called (at the time) Aperon TV (link below). That post got a large number of comment and reaction, demonstrating I think his reputation and network.

-One of those congratulatory comments was from Andrew Mole, to which Soyer replied “ Thanks Andrew. Could not have done it without your wisdom and help.” - Another was from Robert Pratt (who loved it)

-On 11/3/24 Soyer transferred his single share to Robert Keith

- A week later, Andrew Mole was appointed sole Director, replacing Soyer.

- Robert Pratt was appointed Chief Data Officer in August 24, although from his posts it seems he was gagged from announcing that until November (just after the MOU was signed)

- In Sept 24 (before we were told anything) both Keith and Halley increased their stake in GFIN.

- in November we got news of the MOU.

- A week before the deal was executed, Mole was given 15% of 0M by Keith.

Soyer did a podcast about Aperon TV on 2/3/24, a week or so before Keith took ownership (see link below). It’s VERY WELL WORTH A LISTEN because it is all about connected tv targeted marketing and describes Aperon and its potential customer base.

For my money Aperon was what is now called CIQ. It was built by Soyer with Moles/Pubx assistance and then bought by Keith and renamed CIQ, all with a plan for Mole to run it, and then licence it to GFIN for launch. At all stages Halley and Keith have made sure they increased their slice of the pie.

So, I am convinced that CIQ is well developed, is different to other offerings (listen to the podcast), and has likely been developed in conversation with ad agencies. On that, it’s notable that Robert Pratt left a large adtech firm to join CIQ (Essence Mediacom). I’m also convinced Halley/Keith know, and have known for a while, the potential, hence their increased participation. That confidence will have come from the quality of the product and commercial conversations to date.

CIQ is definitely not being launched from a standing start imho.

Not quite sure what to make of it.....

The bears dragged it down, but the bulls rejected it and we've ended up with something close to a bullish hammer on the daily charts. And yet again we had an interesting closing auction.

Tomorrow could prove interesting.

Not being offered a quote on anything over 1050 shares, or £7 worth....

I'm not sure we can really say there is a delay in the TU given that last year was exceptionally earlier, with prior years in Feb/early March, but I am conscious that Yates typically puts out great numbers quickly.

So likewise, I am not really expecting the TU to shoot the lights out, but I am very much hoping to see an improvement compared to H1 24, for CS and IVD to be at least washing their faces, and will be interested if he gives us anything about stateside business volumes/pipe.

The first Eco-Test should be coming out soon as well I think.

Agreed - I would have thought the support/endorsement EXR is getting from Meta should help in that respect (notwithstanding JD's comments below!). I've also just noticed that HTC own over 10% of the stock here (which is news to me but I'm sure not others!)

Day 1 of LEAP is online to watch for ANYONE with 6 hours spare! I skimmed it, but the overriding impression I got is that this is a very serious event demonstrating the huge AI/Tech drive in the ME, and the $billions behind it all. They have a clear focus it seems on becoming THE AI global hub - the future looks promising if EXR is fully accepted/acknowledged there as a player, backed with their money and riding on their coattails.

Any kind of deal/contract news must surely light a fuse….

And FWIW, it looks to me like the SP has retraced to, and will hopefully bounce off, the 20 DMA.

But then what do I know! Newbie after all!

I spent much of this morning looking at EXR and took the plunge this afternoon.

From what I can see we have great collaborations/partners, are operating in an exciting space which is attracting interest from governments globally (particularly the ME), are established and well recognised as a quality player in the space, have potentially exciting imminent news, have an apparently a strong pipeline, have sufficient current cash, and are trading at near all time lows despite the recent rise.

So with all that said, am I missing something obvious to explain the general lack of interest here? Is it just the P&L causing concern?

It just seems to me that this is the right company, at the right price, and at the right time.....

Halley is pretty active on Twitter, but mostly with political commentary and rarely in respect of us. I can't help wonder, therefore, if he's excited by CIQ....!

And, I just can’t see Halley ripping out the costs of GFIN only to then add cost in pursuit of a purely speculative venture. His decision would have been based on the potential of CIQ tech, which in turn would have been driven by market interest in it.

I’ve said it before, but CIQ wasn’t just magicked out of thin air. Someone had to develop it. Most likely I think is Mole and his team, and that Keith acquired the rights through 0M at around the same time he appointed Mole as sole Director, with a view to launching/licensing through GFIN. Let’s remember, Keith was the one who provided GFIN with £120k in Sept to “explore new business opportunities”.

So I really don’t think the signing of the CIQ agreement represented a standing start. My guess is this has been in the planning since around April/May last year, since when development was finished and a pipeline established.

I”m sure many of us have similar experiences WB and, let’s face it, we could just as easily get burned here. But I like businesses that restructure and turnaround. GFIN has been through the pain and now has a nice bouncy springboard for growth having returned to profit and opened up exciting potential, all driven by a savvy, fully aligned, and unpaid CEO whose interests align and isn’t frightened of tough choices or blind to opportunity.

And the charts look decent to me too!
