Posting this because I don’t really know what to make of it….

On 30/1/25 a new fixed and floating charge was executed and registered with Companies House, in favour of Barclays.

Now, we’ve had a charge with Barclays for a few years and I’d kind of assumed this was just a new document to bring our 2024 acquisitions/incorporations within that charge.. But whilst the doc includes Analytical and Ivdeology, it doesn’t include CS Life Sciences despite being executed months after that acquisition. No separate charge has been registered against that company.

So it’s just odd. I can understand we might have renegotiated an existing facility with Barclays, necessitating new charge docs, but I don’t understand why CS would be excluded from that security guarantee.

Probably nothing, but wonder if anyone has any thoughts?

An observation, but the company has a history of putting these out to coincide with TU’s. I’m 70% we will get one tomorrow. If not, I don’t think we will get one at all and will have to wait until month end for the interims.

The more interesting bit is Matthew Courtney’s reply to Chris Yates

So it seems our first Eco tests will be pregnancy and ovulation, but we likely also have a Walgreen connection. Getting them on board would be a boost!!

The shorter term MA has crossed above the longer term, so a golden cross.

But as I say there is no volume etc to confirm it.

Don't know how relevant it is given the low volume and flat RSI etc, but I notice that the 50DMA looks like it has crossed the 200DMA today.....

My guess is Tues, Weds or Thursday next week based on history.

Really don't know what to expect. I still very much like the foundations and direction of the company, alongside the potential of its pipeline, but I am nervous that Yates is taking longer to issue the TU given his record of giving good news quickly and, whilst the hiring of a new business development director looks positive, I do wonder why Liam Currivan wasn't promoted into the position. I suspect we will get "OK" interim numbers, some comment about time/cost on integrating acquisitions, and lots of positive outlook.

There is so much good with ABDX but the frustration is that everything seems to take an absolute age to translate into commercial product and meaningful revenue. I am sure that will come........in time.

I think you've said it before Retrostat, but overlaying all of the potential here is the director confidence n achieving profitability by the end of 2025. I know there has been comment about company being "jam tomorrow" historically, but it does strike me as being pretty daft for the Directors to promote that level of confidence unless they had foundation for it.

Personally I think the confidence is likely well founded given how various stars are aligning...

Let’s see…you’d hope that in addition we should shortly hear something about the delayed ME contract as well.

Whelan has been strangely quiet about the launch, which is a little surprising I think given the broadened reach it gives us. Any thoughts?

I have to admit that I wasn't expecting this until later this year, so this is great news which coincides beautifully with what's happening in the US in terms of educational choice.

Lol - a novice at TA, but an avid follower of stocks! There are much larger order prints coming through, with one for 22,500,000. Currently total c43,000,000 in prints. They will show up on here shortly I am sure.

Looked to me like MM's washing through orders today. Encouraging to see the extended auction at close, with bidders fighting for stock. And whilst I admit to being a novice, it does look to me like we had a bullish hammer candle bouncing off support today. Happy to be told otherwise!

Am intrigued about what tomorrow will bring.

I agree, most aren’t making the connection. But the Donalds are close to Trump and McMahon, and OptimaEd is supremely positioned to take advantage of the Education reform that both are targeting. But with that reform will, I think, come a flurry of other VR education schools all needing a platform like Engage. And all that is just in the US….

The potential opportunity for us shouldn’t be underestimated IMO.

Just for info, but Trump has now endorsed Byron Donalds for Florida Governor. Seems like the family are well in Trumps good books, and if there is to be significant Education reform in the US then Optimaed look perfectly positioned to benefit.

In truth I think Halley has bigger plans for AI than just CIQ. If you look at how our new recruit, Natie Rautenbach, describes his new position with us on LinkedIn, you’ll see it’s all about BUILDING and rapidly deploying AI tools for use across different industries. He doesn’t mention CIQ at all, which of course has already been built.
