RE: 6.25 !!!!!14 Feb 2025 22:35
Ok - I think people are saying they’re alarmed by todays RNS confirming Halleys subscription at 0.625.
If that’s the is the case you need to understand that his subscription was first announced on 5/2, representing a modest discount to the SP at that time, and was all part of a wider company arranged subscription at the same time.
All of the subscription shares, including Halleys, were admitted to the mkt today, which is why we got the RNS confirming it today. It was all fully announced and expected, and should NOT be confused with his having bought shares at 0.625 today.
In fact today has been a massive positive. In total 416m new shares issued at 0.625 hit the mkt today, and some scaremongerers on here predicted a massive churn. But that did not happen, ie people that bought them didn’t sell for a quick buck. Why, because (at least in my view), the company placed the shares with sticky insiders who understand the real value and potential (it was NOT a public placing). I would not be at all surprised to see TR1’s issued on Monday showing increased holdings of significant shareholders.
In truth, we had people placing large orders to buy in auctions at prices well over the prevailing ask. What does that tell you…..
I’ve posted at length on here about what I think is going on behind the scenes, and the potential it offers.
I am still confused by OSD’s comment though! Do you have anything to share OSD?
