Just a little observation, but the company hasn’t done an investor presentation coinciding with the interims release since listing.

I think, at least on here, we’re managing expectations. A move into profit would be amazing but reasonable progress will be just fine, especially if it came accompanied with positive FY outlook statements.

At least nobody is fixating on cash balances this time around!

Good stuff. Wondering if we might get a bit of FOMO today. As it stands it seems to me the results, unless they are truly terrible, are more likely to sending the SP up than down. And “truly terrible” seems very remote to me given we’ve been consistently growing every division of the business whilst maintaining cost. But then WDIK.

Yep. And that’s only in the U.K. Plenty more global health services to target. And you would have though insurers might be all over this given its ability to reduce long term claim costs.

Salignostics have been putting out a steady stream off things like this recently. If they are developing further Saliva tests, you’d hope we’d be first in the running order for new CDMO contracts with them.

We’ve had confirmation that LVOne has been transferred to manufacturing.

I suppose that in and of itself doesn’t absolutely confirm we will be the ones making it, but there seems to be no reason why we wouldn’t be given the long-standing history, the fact we are plugging the test whenever we can and, as you say, continued positive comments from Yates.

Indeed.

We did £2.4m in H124, with at (£1.2m) EBIT. We need to show we have reduced that loss.

H125 will include full income from CS, which was profitable when we bought it, and IVD which was washing its face. So hopefully we will see these two help.

Then we have our own revenue, which will have been bolstered by Boots and Salistick sales, some recognition for the FOFH contract, alongside ongoing and new work generated ourselves and through cross selling to CS/IVD customers.

So if costs have been controlled, which we have an excellent history of doing, then I really do struggle to imagine that we won’t see the improvements we need.

Personally I think we are very cheap at this SP.

Not sure if this has been posted, but it’s an interview with Nag about his thoughts on AI and how he’s thinking of taking it forward.

It’s interesting because it’s from 3 months ago, and I have no doubt we were talking to him at the same time. Could any one of the “moonshots” he talks about be what we are about to get involved with…?

He certainly is a very forward looking thinker, and has a history of doing things before anyone else.

Press reports have said that 500,000 units were ordered/sold within the first year of launch in the U.K./Israel. Now we have an initial 70k from Germany with more orders expected quarterly.

Now, I have no idea if these sales are holding up, whether they will continue to, or what our unit revenue is. But given we make bits of it, provide kitting services, and distribute, I would have thought we make at least £1 per test.

We have just 2 large territories we’re distributing to at the moment- U.K. and Germany. Based on the above you might conservatively say we will sell 600,000 units a year into those territories, so £600k of revenue.

And that ignores tests sold, but that we made parts of, in other places - Israel/Nordics - by other distributors. Australia, Austria and Poland are likely to follow. And then there will be France, Italy, Spain…..the US.

Lots of conjecture in all this, but the point is that these sales are providing a very solid revenue underpin which seems only set to grow as distribution expands.

Well I suppose that must make Nag, that highly educated and successful serial entrepreneur, an idiot for assuming all the responsibilities of an ED with 100% performance related pay.

Not forgetting we were told only recently to expect news shortly. You don’t get to that point without having put a lot of pegs in holes beforehand. Of all the R42 companies, Healix.ai (of which Nag is a significant shareholder and Director (2023) is a tantalising prospect.

It’s certainly not bad news!

From what I can see the companies mentioned have about 4000 stores in Germany, and represent the mainstream mkt like Boots/Superdrug do here. That’s great exposure…..but given that, I have to say a first order of just 70,000 units is, at least for me, a little underwhelming.

But then there’s the rest of Europe to follow suit in time.

The results are what really counts here…

Agree , and I suspect things had been going on behind the scenes for a while.

If he was just going to let us use his contacts etc he’d have joined as a NED, not an ED.

There has been a lot of work to resolve legacy issues and make us a “clean” cash shell
