I’m new in here this morning. I like companies that seem to have plenty of opportunities (which NARF clearly does), but like them even more when they’re run by someone who doesn’t seem to see the need to sell those prospects when interviewed. He knows he had a good business and so doesn’t have to fluff or BS anyone.

Agreed - it does have a niche market for direct sales. But as Retro pointed out, it could also help drive educational sales given its included as part of the package.

Without seeing the reviews/reaction I think the closest marker we might have is Apollo 11 VR which the company launched in April 2016, achieving 120,000 downloads by April 2018. But of course the whole VR market has moved on since then.

Whatever, I think it fair to think the release will represent a shot in the arm for the company, and hopefully contribute meaningfully to the breakeven target the Board has expressed confidence we will achieve this year.

Of course, the other “unknown” here is the Titanic VR price. The last version from 6/7 years ago was $20. As far as I can see, games released now are typically between $20 and $40.

Who knows what projection would be realistic Retro, but your basic maths makes sense, ie revenue = assumed titanic sales ratio x headsets sold.

From what I can see, however, the 1m 3 & 3S sales estimate you cite may be on the low side. This piece, for example, suggest 1m sales of the two headsets just in the 48 day period between launch of the 3S (24/10/24) and cyber Monday (2/12/24).

So who knows how many in total have been sold by now! Our sales will of course depend on the reaction to the game, hence my interest in the reviews! If they’re great, this could represent a significant boost for us.

It does make you wonder if they are waiting to put out a trading update until they have some indication of initial sales of Titanic VR.

Looks like we featured prominently with Meta and had a successful summit, giving 90 demos over3 days. Little doubt in my mind that the V4 release was timed so it could be showcased there.

Personally I think this is a positive. The whole point of the procedure is to give Vast time to sort itself out. If the Court/Creditors weren’t satisfied it was doing so, in accordance with the agreed plan, the procedure would be ended.

What it means, at least I think, is that Vast were able to demonstrate it is sticking to the plan (whatever that is) and, importantly, none of the creditors have asked the Court to move matters to bankruptcy. It is frustrating that we have no idea what plan has been agreed, nor are we (unlike the Court) told what activities are being undertaken by Vast to stick to it.

From the Court records, updated today, it looks like Vast Baita has been granted a continuation of the insolvency procedure until 25/9. So, at the very least, the Court is satisfied that Vast is genuinely trying to rehabilitate itself through restructuring.
