There is always an element of profit taking especially on a Friday after a week of significant gains, however, I expect we will finish blue before close of play, undoubtedly everyone will want in and avoid news hitting 7.00am Monday and then having to pay in excess of £1. Still only 56MC then, so still a bargain in this sector with the products in play.
Lets see if I am correct, blue end of day!!

Val are currently fully funded following a recent placing , still only 56m shares issued and with results due on various fronts the sp is way undervalued. Do your own research!!!
Also val is a completely new company now with the old guard all gone.

Clearly today's news was unexpected and the sp reacted in the way as would be expected after showing signs of going on a bull run!
To answer some questions this placing could not have been announced either prior or during the AGM. The resolution to allot additional shares had to be passed at the AGM and you cannot announce price sensitive information at an AGM. It has to be formally issued to the market beforehand.
Whilst on the face of it it wasn't good news, at least the directors participated although small amounts. Not all directors are weathly people so anything is a good signal and current holders can also participate saying that you may be able to pick up shares on the open market at a similar price or lower?? But the funds will not end up in Company coffers!!
Anyway I will not be selling anytime soon as there is plenty of news due and could prove to be company changing news as the current MV is peanuts. So let's wait and see if we hear why this raise was imperative at this stage and see where we are in a few months from now. I suspect we could be at multiple times the current sp, all dependant if course on good and frequent newsflow.

Indeed it will, however you know as well as I the market tends to look into the future not the past. The market will also have pretty much guessed what these results will look like as I have, but it doesn't really matter.
The pertinent point here is once the cinemas start reopening around the world hiw much cash can Cine generate, that will be based on numbers.
Watch what happens this weekend once the pubs and restaurants open it will be lift off for those businesses particularly if the weather is good. The same will happen when cinemas reopen, whoosh cash will be generated initially like its Christmas!
The current drop off in the sp is temporary and provides an excellent opportunity imo.
Thus will be back over £1 in no time keep watching.

How do you know Earache, or rather me according to our dear friend Pash, is still not a holder. As far as I know he has never issued an RNS stating it one way or tother!!! are you making that up?
No harm in keeping an eye on a stock you sold to put the money to better use as I have done with one or two aim shares, I noticed there was a very good opportunity out there early March, well known stocks hammered down to rock bottom prices, so I took up the offer and bought 4 of them, all of which are recovering and I'm showing a decent profit. I said at the time that it may be a temporary exit from Alien as I did think it was a decent prospect, I still have reservations however and will see what our good friend BBG has to say and then keep watching as I also still think there could be another cash raise. If you look through the recent raises you will note the cash does not last long, that last raise also deterred me again as it was a "keep the lights on raise" to see the company through the current crisis. A little desperate if you will!!
So don't write off previous holders posting on shares they owned, they know an awful lot more about a company sometimes than you or potential new investors, I do and so does Earache for sure!!!
What I don't like is the constant drivel posted on these boards, like, "about to pop", silver prices going up so UFO well undervalued, World class assets!! when most cost peanuts!!! its absolute drivel!

It appears that anyone with a contrarian view is placed in the "oddball" category by yourself, that is very interesting, does that mean than anyone with an opposing view or anyone who was a holder but may yet re-invest is an oddball!! strange I have to say if that is the case. I suppose once an investor they would automatically revert from the "oddball" status would they? do they receive a certificate from you and your fellow rampers on here to congratulate them on their capitulation and I suppose becoming normal? Very interesting times on the UFO board, I look forward to my reincarnation as a normal person and a group hug, virtual of course, and to a sing-a-long to the great virtues of the stock "UFO" and their good captain, James T Bill Brodie Good!!!

Run that by me again Dav!! wee small hours!!! what are you on about old son. In any case if someone were to post in the wee small hours, it may well be they are based elsewhere in the world old son, not everyone who posts on these boards is based in blighty!!!
By the way he may still be an investor, just a very disillusioned one, as I am an ex investor, disallusioned but still keeping an eye on it to see if any progress is being made. Alas none that I can see, still an awful 20% spread I see and all I can see ahead is another cash call.

You're correct you do not need to explain yourself but if you cannot back up your points with facts then you should not post them. Two potential world class mines, I think you will find the Mexico asset has been held for some time, as I said earlier the other assets have been picked up for peanuts. Now unless I am mistaken you don't pick up potential world class anything for peanuts!!! and as for listening to BBG I think you need to listen to ex investors on here with more intent, it could save you thousands. BBG doesn't know you and more to the point doesn't care about you, he has diluted the pants out of this with piddling placings over the past two years with absolutely nothing to show for it apart from as I say huge losses on the profit and loss account purchasing dubious assets. The only assets as I see it with any semblance of potential is the Mexico assets as there is a miniscule possibility of a JV, that has receded now due to this pandemic imo.

Angel, I'm afraid there is no credibility here whatsoever, that is my point, as a former holder I should know!!! As for two strong money making assets, I'm afraid with comments such as that you really do make yourself look silly. Tell me, how do you propose that Alien turn them into money making assets, how much will it cost and in what year will it happen? Good luck with those questions as I wouldn't have a clue and I know a fair bit about this company, you however may be able to make something up!!
