Lol, I would happily take 15-20p haha
I am putting this one in the bottom drawer for a few weeks so I can see how this plays out without riding the highs and lows of the intra day trades.
This share has held up nicely given all it's recent gains. This represents an exciting space to be involved in ahead of the upcoming flow of good news around commercialisation deals.

They give the appearance more have sold that bought when the truth us the contrary....
This share will definitely going to fluctuate today. For me it will be important to hold this rise and stay around 8p going into the weekend.
I am prepared to take a punt and hold on the basis the volumes point to something else being afoot.
Let's hope the brave get rewarded here!

Point taken Hawkes on the work VLS is doing. I didn't mean to underplay VLS ground breaking work.
But the point is both companies can be successful.
CTAE is definitely a play for the now. As we actually have something that is tangible and ready to go.
Where as most times we are investing in something that is being developed.

Normally sure this would be a good opportunity for a quick buck and to be honest like most over the last few days I bought in for that reason initially.
But looking at where the company is and given key shareholders are increasing their stakes.
Why in the world would you sell at the point a company has a Covid19 App complete?
With exclusive commercial rights....
Has already showed 2 days after saying the app is ready that they will share the deals with the market asap....
And where we are only going to get a good stream of news with deals sales and collaborations over the next few weeks and months....
And where any press or government mentions is only going to further add traction to this share....
Then go look at the volumes over the last 3 days and you realise this share is about to breakout.
Tell me how many companies do double digit rises including a 100% rise 3 days running? I can tell you not many as normally you see a retrace on day 2 or 3.....
The volume is just getting stronger.....

I could definitely compare this to VLS and this is much better. Why?
It is delivery now to the market with its product. The VLS will take around 5 years to get their project completed so VLS is miles off. I had an interest in VLS investment wise so I understand their timelines.
Furthermore this company is helping with a current crisis and has a product that is now complete and ready to go.
And it has "exclusive rights" to commercialisation.
We will get a good flow of news on future commercialisation deals so this share is only going one way over the next few months and that is up!

Lets get to 20p next week please! :)
I bought in based on volume alone as something is definitely happening momentum and sentiment wise with this company. So I see a breakout.
The good news is the volumes were backed up not by pump and dump but by its bigger shareholders increasing their stakes in this company at the point the Covid19 app is now available for "exclusive" commercialisation.
This will continue to rise as the penny drops with the wider investors, organisations (potential customers to us) and the public.
Furthermore, weekend news and any government mention will see this share rocket.
A government mention for Velocys took that share to around 2-3 times it's SP.
And given the government got the app thing wrong, hopefully the press will pick up on this app shortly.
Anyone with contacts to the media - get this RNS information over to their desks so we can get the story out!

What is the cash position of the company vs the cash burn?
If this couple were close to the company then surely they would wait for the placing?
And further more the app is ready to go? So next exclusive commercialisation....
money time and invested...next is to generate sales and deals...so news should be of deals won?
Ok thanks Jonesrichard
The worst thing is I looked at this company yesterday early on based on it's initial rise and did not go with it. Typical lol. I would already be 100% up. But anyway hopefully this one has some legs to it.

Which company is rumoured to be tabling a takeover bid?
30th June. Buys 3.3m. vs Sells 2.9
1st July at Midday yesterday..... Buys 12M vs Sells 7M
2nd July (today) at Midday.....Buys 28M vs 26M
This does not happen unless something is about to happen.....
Buying volume is immense?
Jonesrichard - Which company are rumoured re takeover?
mentioned a virus filter but who knows
How far this stock has fallen to.
I used to do bits of work for this company back in the day.
Where do we think this stock can recover to without resistance £1.40 / £1.50 or further.
The drop from £10 is a real drop or was there some 5 for 1 or other share split or something like that?

Hello all,
Like many others, I seem to have been over enthusiastic on the timelines of getting the rapid Antigen test to market. I had July in my mind but it seems like it will be more like July / August. While I feel we are primed for a real "stream and flow" of news as we have so many things happening on different fronts, I am keen to get peoples feedbacks on when they think this will happen.
I am focusing on the Antigen testing as that is the shorter play:
- Further updates on collaborations with Adeptrix and Cytiva - 1-2 weeks
- When would we find out how accurate the Antigen tests are in terms of % accuracy?
- EU / US Approvals of the tests - What timeline do we expected this application to be started? Approval granted?
- Therapy partnership with a major pharaceutical - there has been a lot of noise made but no deal announced yet. Are we thinking 2-4 weeks to hear something one way of another
- Orders for the rapid Antigen testing
- Pricing, Profit or royalty information around the Antigen tests
I am just focusing on the more likely things we are looking to hit in the next few months. I will set aside dual listings and takeovers because obviously that is a lot further down the line.
The US are looking like they could be in for a second wave the way things are going.
The success of this testing is about timing. So I really hope we get the product out quick enough for it be fully bought in to. We have a ready market right now but things can change quickly. So sooner rather than later so we can build some momentum to this share again.

HI Richard,
It is all the parts combined that you need to look at and then the RNS only reads one way.
Sure the test might need to be optimised but that is no bad thing. Would you rather cowboys rush the test out to make a fast buck or they get the accuracy where it is needed so if any other players enter the market our accuracy will be hard to surpass?
The other parts of this. Cytiva and Medusa. To get a partner like Cytiva both sides would need to be very confident as to be blunt Cytiva's reputation is on the line as well as ours. Further, to get Medusa involved in this one confirms you are only going to get manufacturing lined up if you are highly confident you will have a valid test as they were talking about EU and US approvals a long time before now. So this has been a planned process. The only question out there was how long this would all take.
I have been impatient as everyone else but I would rather have delayed good news that rushed poor news.
So this looks good for us. Today is a big step in the right direction!

Very good RNS this morning.
Both Avacta and Cytiva are very happy with the results so far. The key will be the "accuracy %" of the test. So they have been wise to take their time to get this right. As they will only get ONE shot at this one.
Also nice news on the manufacturing being in place once the testing strips accuracy is optimised.
Finally, many scientific people including in the daily update yesterday were talking about therapies as well as vaccines as a way to progess through Covid19. So if we are able to announce a global Pharma partners on the therapy side then this could really be an exciting time for the company.
We hear people talk about inflection points. Well on the testing strip perspective:
- Highly accurate testing % is needed
- EU / US Approvals
- News of the orders being generated and sales
- Therapy partners
Other strong areas
- Existing non Covid19 business now has £30M to get that motoring too
- Possible dual listing
- Possible takeover
Something that was telling in the interview by Alistair is they said they are trying to get things done that normally takes months and months into weeks.
And also in the RNS they confirm we will get a further update re testing accuracy very shortly. So it is finally moving!

They are both traded in GBP too as far as I am aware
