From an ignorant perspective I would hope the seller has some sort of guidelines on their selling. If they have just issued the command to sell regardless then this could result in them selling at a loss if the sp collapsed. There is v good support with bmn as the knowledgeable top up but with other shares this might not be the case. If they are half way through their selling might we not expect a lull while the sp recovers and then they restart?

My thanks to Fastmoney for sparking the debate and to the lth's who have been so open on their investments. As a relative newcomer myself I am above water but seeing the sp drop is still disconcerting and does fill you with doubts. I feel re-invigorated with bmn now and am looking down the back of the couch for a top up on this temporary weakness.

They are a law unto themselves and it is very often difficult to predict their behaviour. They make money whether a share is rising or falling so don't seem to care about the company or the investors. I have a share that has had more sellers than buyers and yet the sp has rose. I have a few shares where the sp has never shifted for a while (few buyers or sellers, sometimes none) and they don't seem to try and make a market. I think they try their tricks when there are a lot of people interested in a share and BMN are in that category They probably follow the chat and buzz around a share and can use that to profit from it. Just my musings.

I would be wanting Bank Holidays to be over so quick but just can't wait for the BMN story to continue tomorrow. The figures presented by the well researched here (thanks all) are exciting to say the least. I have other investments but at the moment I just cast an occasional sleepy eye on them. A little obsessive? Yes but with good reason.

Trying to quickly catch up on the chatter after a days work. Did I read that lth's were adding to help support the sp after the drops we are seeing early on? If so would it not be better to get in early with the buys and set a positive tone that others might follow and drive the sp higher? Just a thought I'm no expert on the finer workings of the market.

You make a good point Dibs about comparing companies and until companies are actually making profits it's all about sentiment, belief and potential. At the moment star are lagging behind with these but that's what makes it such an exciting opportunity and people here are themselves baffled at the gap. The fact you continue to hold suggests you too are a believer.

This reporting/not reporting of sales/buys seems to be commonplace. They can show up a day later camouflaged amongst other deals. They happen on other shares I deal in and for no other reason I can think of than someone's attempt to influence the mood around buying/selling on the day. Setting the direction of where they want the sp to move. Perhaps I'm wrong. Perhaps I've had a drink. Perhaps I'm rambling. Perhaps I'm right.

No. I bought nearly 2k gbp worth today at lunchtime and once again no sign of it. On nex? As I've mentioned before I use HL whether this matters or not to where it shows up who knows. Never sold any but wonder if it would show up here if I did.

I'm a buy and hold type so entry points less critical for me. The gentle pull back we are having currently is delaying a top up from me. I'm sitting on a healthy gain from the past months but despite knowing the potential here am agonising over timing. We can be strange.

The share price you mention for ct is where we should be heading and has us all keeping the faith. As you say multiple product fronts. If they all contribute, and there's no reason why they shouldn't, then the likes of ct will be looking up at us.

Agree a little with the frustration but pleased the sp is showing signs of life without any formal update. After all the lively talk on increased sales levels this year I think the company will be well aware of the importance of their next announcement. After the financial results episode they will want to restore the confidence that surrounded the company. Am expecting a really positive update and with returning belief the sp will soar to where it should be. The frustration is in the wait.

increasingly obvious that the world is being more and more driven by information, digitisation and connectivity. Starcoms world class products are positioned to be right at the centre of this rapidly expanding area. They are gaining recognition and acceptance at just the right time. At some stage what they are offering will become the accepted norm for businesses and people. Our sales are increasing and I hope that they are getting themselves organised to meet the ramp up when it comes. Good times lie ahead.
