If we're breaking into song while we wait for the updates to come along then my choice would be, Up, Up & Away (in my beautiful balloon)...

Been reading about some personal experiences on AIM and it can be quite revealing; the highs, the lows, the stress - something I'm sure many can relate to. One outlined how as the fundamentals of a particular company got better and better the sp continued to drop. They kept faith and continued to add. Now the fundamentals have shone through and the company has given them a life changing return of many multiples. It didn't happen overnight and patience was needed. Dare we dream? All I know is that we have had confirmation of significant increases in sales and revenue and we are shortly to announce a collaboration with a major European player. All in all the fundamentals are getting better and the reason for investing more compelling and yet the sp languishes. I've been in Star for years so I know it's rise wont happen overnight but remain convinced it will. Who knows, perhaps in a couple of years someone will be reading about my personal experience on AIM on a quiet Sunday afternoon.

Just thought I would check in while at work and see how today's rise was getting on. What's this red colour all about? lol
Mind you they do say shares can go down as well as up. You can forget this as a bmn investor.

for the interim results to be released and have the name of our European partner out there for all to see. It may or may not be who we think it is. It may or may not give the sp a boost. What it will do is puff out the chests of the sales and marketing team. They can knock on big companies doors and say we have great products that have been adapted for and accepted by this blue chip company and we can do the same for you, now let's talk business. The update is the week commencing 27th Aug so could be as late as the 31st.

Seems like a few 'traders' bailing out today then, disappointed that they haven't had their 20%.

I have ended the day in very good spirits, pretty much how I started the day though the in between had it's moments. Excellent rns confirming what we believed was happening with STAR's progress, sp jumped up to reflect the good news and the heart was beating fast. Took time out of work later to check how the progress was going only to be, well, see my post about MM's. You have to have a sense of humour; great rns, more buys than sells and the sp drops.. Greenhills post got me thinking, my minimum target is 10p and I have years before I need to consider selling by which time 10p may be small beer. Not sure I'd welcome the possibility of 50p being achieved as I would have to moderate my lifestyle to make sure I would live long enough to be able to spend all the money made.

A lot of info has come our way today with the rns and the interview but 2 things stick in my mind and give me greater confidence for the future. Firstly the comments about 'modifications and adjustments' being made to products at the request of customers. This is a very good trait and shows versatility of both product and company. Secondly, MR saying that the board have 25% skin in the game. He is making the point that they are totally committed to making things happen. Both augur well for the future.

Wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment for steady progress and not rapid sp progress. Experienced such and the pain watching the retrace is not nice. Each day you think 'should I sell?'. You don't want to because you believe in the Company. Give me a steady rise with the (inevitable) wobble now and again.

Good perspective Korg. We've lost a few who weren't here for the long term and picked up a lot who hopefully see where this company is heading.

After that rns which clearly outlines the growth in this company and where it will continue to grow people buying now are getting a really good bargain with little risk for an AIM share.

Absolutely scandalous behaviour by the mm's. Pleased I'm in for the long haul and can laugh off these shenanigans. The rns showed exactly where this company is heading, it's doing tremendously well.

…..share price plods on....long may the plodding continue! I am 62% up on my investment since February of this year, adding as the price plodded up.

Someone mentioned that it can take the wider market a while to realise what is going on/for the penny to drop. Is it selfish of me to hope this is so after that tweet as although I have said I am extreme overweight in bmn I would like to make it obscene overweight?

with the sp but still a long way to go. We are still a long way from where it should be and if the predicted good news lands next week then we are a very long way from where it should be.

A day when 4 of my holdings were in the top fallers chart. It could have been a 'pass the tablets' day but my extreme overweight in bmn has tempered my mood, my profit here more than covers losses elsewhere. No doubt many on here can recall traumatic days on AIM. As a balance I've had a day when 3 were in the top risers. It shows the wild nature of AIM. What comforts me about bmn is the fact it is a growing company where it is difficult to see the downside; It is severely undervalued so any weakness in Vanadium/energy storage would have little effect as they haven't been fully factored in anyway. You just can't see them ever being in the top fallers list.

Thank you for the detailed answer Alfacomp. Today has increased my belief in the longer term future of bmn. Once the market sees these vrfb's in action it will open up a huge market. There's a great story unfolding here.

Exciting rns from them which for me really anchors vrfb technology into the mainstream and gives me more confidence for bmn. Germany are well respected for their engineering so if they are adopting it that's a great endorsement. The rns mentioned their patented technology. Anyone know how BE compares to It?

No Russian hacking there DR I assume lol. I think a number of people are expecting an update in the next few days and have been loading up accordingly as there is little doubt that news will be very positive. I too am hopeful but am focussed on the longer term. I think STAR will gain momentum from this uplift but longer term the future is very bright indeed.

It is different. The rns in May said 'significant growth'. No grey area there.

Just topped up with just under 4K GBP and got price of 22.95 from HL which is under bid. Sells in the background?
