ifluaj - you are completely correct and, yes I've considered that option. Truth is, I will rely on market fluctuations between now and D-Day (or until I get bored!) The market will keep playing this stock as people buy/sell. Do I think it will rise above 2p between now and then? I blooming hope so!

I did, and sold later. Have waited until they went below 2p for another risky but!

Between now and the deal going through, the share price will fluctuate. If it rises, I will sell. If it drops, I lose some. If the deal goes through, I lose half. If something exciting happens, I win big time. All a massive risk, of course - but it's only money!

Still a bit of life in Flybe yet, I've nabbed 200,109 shares ;-)

Yeah, worth a punt at 2p - risky but worth it

It seems the dust has settled after the share price dropped massively due to slow-down and going ex-div this week. Might finally see a rise over the coming days as TUI finds it's right valuation.

caitlin1 "Closing price 7.45" Let's see how wrong you are at the closing bell. You might have to give up waiting to buy in at "sub 5" I'll have a little chuckle to myself if TUI do actually ticks up today instead.

The value will be zilch Ebloch, Flybe will just be an empty shell with no value as everything will have transferred to the consortium.

Cheer up smithy! I'll be out before that day. I'm going to ride the bounces and get some return as people bail out. And why not? The Flybe board have been a disgrace. Long live Tinkler!

The great thing about buying at 2p or less: I know the most it can lose is 50% if I'm forced to accept the current offer (and a 50% loss is a lot less than most experienced on here) but between now and then, the upside is infinite. That's the joys of the stock market - sellers bail and buyers dive in. Flybe still has movement and the downside is now limited!

According to Christine Ourmieres-Widener, Flybe will be around in 40 years time under the new arrangements, I wouldn't give that 4 years! Meanwhile, deal or no deal, Flybe has been a turbulent journey!

Its not over until the fat lady sings! Some are holding out for an alternative end to what the board at Flybe have concocted. Might just get a surprise twist yet.

Considering the 50% drop, reaching 1150 should be easy. Looks like the bottom was reached yesterday and these prices are great entry points for investors. Could we close nearer 1200 or am I being too optimistic?

Time for Metro to bounce back. Way oversold imo. Might just end the week more positive (at last)
