I have to admit I got it wrong with TCG, I thought it would go back to 40p following the sharp drop, but it seems the share still hasn't found its lowest price yet. I've cut my losses and sold around 36p. I hope others are able to ride this out longer than my impatient fingers!

I think they issued more shares when they bought a company last year so maybe some of those options are maturing, pushing the price down? Seems like there is a big sellers there recently, we might find out soon via an RSN. Maybe the market 1PM are in will be adversely affected by Brexit and this is pushing us lower? Last year in early December the company issued a trading update, that could be a good turning point.

Why not?

Apart from quite a few big sells going through, the company has been growing since it listed on AIM in 2006

Both BTFATH1 and Skully12345 posted like f**king hell on Flybe then sold most of their holding - it is no surprise and I'm happy they made a profit like so many others.

The only members that should be annoyed are those who got sucked into their words.
At least BTFATH1 has been honest and upfront about selling, which was more than Skully12345.

If anything, it should remind everyone to just follow your own heart and not someone else's hidden agenda on these boards.

Good point, some positive comment/news would be most welcome after 2 profit warnings.
I just feel that 35p was oversold on the news, but it's not up to me.

Topped up while the price dropped this morning, I still think we will see over 40p once it has settled.

Thomas Cook: UBS reiterates neutral with a target price of 60p. (I take that with a pinch of salt) Oversold on the profit warning yesterday, possible rise today to a more realistic level imo.

Only natural that after such a dramatic rise it would fall back. With news, it will rise sharply - without news, it will shake some out as it drops. Still lots to play for.

39p maybe then over 40p tomorrow as it settles.

Better to lose ones nerves with a profit then hold your nerve with a loss!

Thomas Cook (TCG) have been keeping me busy today - I needed some distraction from Flybe until we get the RSN that rockets this share.

This has been fantastic for those brave enough to buy around the 9-10p and those joining in along the way. If/when actual bids come in, then there is still juice left in this little beauty But what goes up can come back down just as fast if the desired results are not achieved - so I would urge causion. I'd hate to see people in here lose money (well, apart from those that short stocks ;-)) GLA

Think he must have sold out early Friday afternoon, gone very quiet in here since. Remember he was posting non stop until he sold a stake (again).

Friday saw almost 100m shares change hands.

Indeed sprintman - the fact Flybe have opened up their books for perspective buyers gives more options for interested parties.
I'm just glad there has been considerable interest so far. TBH, any bidders will not want to reveal their hand - already the share price has jumped around 100% since Thursday's close - so the more tight lipped the cheaper the price they will pay for Flybe (or part of)

I doubt we will get an RNS today confirming any offers for Flybe because the airline is in a stronger position now than it was a week ago. We know they are talking to 3 airlines, as confirmed in the media and there are probably others yet to be revealed.
A stronger position could lead to better offers, so I'm happy to hang on and wait for official RNS, then we will see a frenzy for shares.

It seems happy around the 20p range so 30p is not likely at the moment.
When or if a formal bid is announced, then it could become a reality very quickly.

While talks are going on behind the scenes, we will just have to either be patient or take profit now.

Skully12345 sold the majority of his Flybe shares too cheaply on Friday afternoon - he could have seen another 30-50% rise.
Wonder if that is why he is no longer posting much in here?

...... and we might top that with 100m+ shares changing hands on Monday as the bidding war heats up. GLA whether you sell, hold or buy, it's going to be another exciting day!
