Court this morning to finalise everything then, "It is also expected that the listing of and dealings in Flybe Shares will be suspended from 7.30 am on 11 March 2019. The last day of dealing in, and for registration of transfers of, Flybe Shares will therefore be 8 March 2019." But if you are able to buy shares today for less than 1p, surely that's good if you get the penny back?

@Gotmiester I sympathise with you. Many of us were taken back by the 1p deal and how air-tight that deal would be. Meanwhile the market makers are loving that people are STILL buying shares in Flybe and increasing the price above 1.0p for their own again as investors will only get 1p (minus costs) after de-listing day. Noticed some of the big guys have sold this morning, 1.1p is still better than 1.0p ( just!)

Sadly the reality now is it's just 1p when it delists, I don't think even a white knight in shining armour can change that now. The final nail in the coffin was the shareholder approval of the deal or face getting 0p. I've loved reading this stock - from whirlwind highs to seemingly stupid lows, but that's the stock market for you. With Flybe we were bottom of the pile and so easy targets.

@Academy - think they said it would seek to raise the funds in the first half of this year.

The placing was no shock, which is why the sp dropped to 10.63 at the end of January. Once things have settled, the good news from Friday and the bad news of a share issue today will give us a more balanced price ( as long as there are no more surprises!)

Yesterday 2 brokers had buy recommendations for Barclays (price target of 2.16/2.20) and the 4p Divi coming up should lift the price by Friday (imho). As long as Barclays is making money, then I'm not to worried. I always find this a boring but safe stock to hold in the longer term.

Great news for Metro, especially after the last few weeks. Hopefully now the share price should get back to previous levels. Nice rise so far today.

Time for me to say goodbye to Flybe - I've been in and out since 20p and had a great adventure, even though I got stung for a few grand being the last shareholder to buy before the board announced the crappy 1p deal. Thankfully I bought back in at a low price and was able to recoup all my losses with the latest twist this week. Alas, I feel it really is time for the fat lady to sing so I no longer own Flybe. Best wishes to everyone who has been part of this journey and GL with whatever happens. I hope none of you get stung with being lumbered with 1p per share after the final day of trading tomorrow. Time to let this bird fly.

@RichardKent1 I could live with that increase ;-) This might just force Virgin to increase their offer nearer the 8-10p range that Flybe were trading at when rumours of their offer came out. We could even see Virgin or Stobart table new offers. Let's wait and see what the RNS says at 7am before we get too carried away. (if we get a statement from Flybe) Exciting times.

@RichardKent1 yes, I have over 250,000 shares that I bought as a risky punt. This latest twist could actually pay off if a bidding war develops last minute. All of this drama would make a good film!

Looks like a last minute surprise may be on the table, according to Sky News, this would make the share price 4.5p and inject much needed funds into Flybe. The company would remain listed but the Virgin deal would need to be rejected Maybe this was why Virgin offered such a low price all along? A bidding war would have pushed what they needed to pay upwards. Now finally we might see Virgin getting into that bidding war and get a price that was nearer the 10p. - 20p range!

It's bouncing back. Still time.

If the votes go against the Flybe board, they have threatened to wind-up the company. (so a choice between 1p and potentially 0p). Only a white night could save us now. But even then the choice is very limited, especially if rescued from administration ( if it happened ). If someone is waiting in the wings ( no pun), I wonder if they would pounce if the vote showed 'no deal' or wait to buy it on the cheap ( where shareholders get nowt). We will soon find out.

Good to see yet another buy yesterday by those at the top of Tui. Shows they have confidence in the company. Remember on Thursday when caitlin1 said: "RE: Do not buy This is going sub 5.00.I have a buy set at 4.99." Looks like caitlin1 got it massively wrong. The share price was dragged down too much, flushing out the nervous, but several buys by the director's shows confidence in TUi. It would be good to see this rise back above 10 pound at least.

Does Andrew Tinkler still own 31m+ shares in Flybe? Maybe he'll use the £5m+ he got from his Stobarts shares to manoeuvre an alternative to the shame deal on offer currently.

As long as we get the dividend, I'm happy with either date. Biggest concern at the moment is the massive after hours sell each day that seems to be a big holder offloading (?)
