Micky, that’s not quite correct. Well, the bit about MrI was correct but not about 10 patients. For an innovative treatment for AML, it has been stated before that a 60% ish (3 out of 5) success rate would be regarded as exceptional. The 35% that MrI states is what Vlad himself has stated would be regarded as success.
Now put yourself in the position of an R & D executive at one of the big pharmaceutical companies and what’s dropped on your desk is a little known company called Hemogenyx. They’ve partnered with one of the world’s premier oncology hospitals and has treated four patients, and all four patients have responded positively to treatment. That my friend, would make him sit bolt upright and start making enquiries. They wouldn’t wait for 10…Heck, there are billion dollar deals being made with pre-clinical companies.
Now I’m not saying all four of the treated patients will respond positively but I pray they do, and not because of the share price. I only say this because the 10 patient baseline you speak of, is a flexible number dependent on the circumstances.
