Yes that BB is still here with some amazingly subtle and mostly incorrect albeit gradual discrediting of the viability of Sonora - he must be on more money per post than I'd thought !

Actually (and I'm sure I'm not the only one thats noticed this) it has tmakings of a really good range-traded share Low at say 24p -- sell at 28.7p taking into account the spread a steady 10% + gain every couple of weeks !

What proceedings is this then Y110 ? The proceedings of another week thats gone by with no Amapa deal delivered - or havent you noticed this yet !

johnp - you are right Ganfeng (being astute Chinese businessmen) will try and get this for the cheapest possible price, and that is the way of the world so I personally reserve my derision for the board who seem to be lapping this up like puppy dogs !. There no hard evidence of board collusion but the circumstantial evidence is huge, looking from all angles. And yes I do think this share has been manipulated to a degree in the respect of the timing and price of last placing which ensured a nice low starting point for an offer from GF. I think we are entitled to a copy of the bod remuneration packages...

If a risky AIM stock needs 14 years then its a fundamentally flawed investment ! I have many OEICs that have done way way better than this over much lesser timeframes than this -- no offence KK this is the conclusion I have come to managing my own seven figure portfolio since about 2009 ! All most of the AIM shares have actualy done for me is mostly providing a source of irritation !

" - Rather a strange mentality here, if a company is screwing up BB's are not just for cheerleading, unless you think that they are KK ! Its hard to see near term upside here unless they are keeping some activity very secret and plan to blow us all away out of the blue (eg major deep flowing) which I very much doubt. It all very well using chart trends to trade a stock but when that stock is known to be on a sticky wicket - that becomes a gamble !

I wouldnt quite look at it like this. Yes they didnt have enough time to finalise before the market imposed time limit expires, but plenty of time in suspension to get a deal done, just means our money is tied up longer..

Fozdog - as I said the other day, this hasnt performed because it has been practically been kept secret by the limp wristed CEO. Only the small band of die hard PI's here and on KDNC know about it pretty much. If I had Secker working for me in my former sales team he would have been dead-meat 10x over !!

bb - how are currency exchange rates relevant to the current situation ? Anyone who buys shares in a non-native currency runs the risk of currency fluctuations it is a phenomenon as old as time itself almost.
It could easily go the other way and then you would be saying 'wow im doing really well with the pounds weakness against the dollar' its pointless to discuss this in the current context.

Fozdog - Agree with this, but in reality I'll bet key II's have already shared their views - just not with us bottom feeders ! The Zinnwald thing makes sense and could very well be a tactic the 'pension-fund' BOD use to get this over the line.

jam2 - I have to say that this is extremely wishful thinking ! At the end of the day Ganfeng need to raise the (western) cash to do the deal and this is never easy its my view this is the snag...

It is very true that Ganfeng have effectively set the SP in concrete for the foreseeable future giving us the option of staying in with the hope we can do better of exiting and making the money work elsewhere, it alll depends on when/whether we get clarity from some of the II's as to where their allegiances lie.

I have e-mailed BCN several times for comment and they won't even say 'no comment' I'm going to suggest they change the company name to 'The Secker/Strauss Pension Fund' -- what do you think ?
