I too need £50 per share to break even,on my original holding of £360 shares.Fortunately I need a break even of about 100p on my more recent purchases of 80k shares. This was an ugly duckling for me for years but it has recently become a swan & following this weeks Results I expect it to become even more beautiful I look forward with excitement to £50

opening in a large Liverpool facility is great news for CRU ,assuming my hunch that they are the big new client ,as the price can be shipped quickly & efficiently to site .

I would imagine we have benefitted substantially from the heat wave in terms of sales of summer oriented food packaging( ice cream/salad containers etc. Tatra also looks like an inspired acquisition & it's CEO could have much to offer us in his new capacity & he has also become a major shareholder with a vested interest in the future of our company.

Contradiction in terms-your best performing share so why begrudge those that made that happen be well rewarded.I wish some of the directors of the companies I have invested in received substantial performance related bonuses as I might otherwise be in profit.

CS-you are some detective-great work! Interesting indeed if we exit that very competitive market & free up resources for our new higher marging businesses/contracts. Results can now be published any time soon & they will hopefully be accompanied by acquistion news together with stronger results than expected & a very positive outlook statement,all of which should help our SP re rate. We are invested in a tiny company with very little liquidity in our shares,most of which are very tightly held by a handfull of investors,resulting in a SP that stagnates with minimal volume for long periods but is soon likely to be re rated.An increase in our dividend would be most welcome .I consider that the plan is still to put the company into a saleable condition & ,at some point in the future,we will be sold,hopefully for much more than 13/14p per share.

is running a story today that Morrisons ,with the help of Ocado ,will start taking orders for home deliveries from 9th July.Very likely that this is our new substantial customer.Lets hope that their offering is successfull & takes London by storm,

Absolutely & lets hope that it is reflected in the SP,with news regarding acquisitions to follow together with results,which I expect to show an improvement over the previous year & the possibility of an increased dividend. Maybe this ugly duckling will become a swan,after all .

Extremely low volume(almost non existent) in CRU but the declining SP in recent days & the lack of confirmation from the company suggests that there has been a problem in signing the contract. The company did say they would announce when it was signed or if it fell through ,but the signs arent good as we are now mid June & the contract was due to start this month.A 10 year contract & £8mill revenue in thefirst 2 years would be transformational for CRU-pity if it falls through.

Couldn't be anything else CS,but we still haven't received confirmation of the "big"contract,but we may currently be supplying the customer on a temporary short term contract. Results due in 4 weeks or so,but. If any acquisitions are announced results could be announced early. My gut tells me we have had a good year,the outlook statement will be positive & the divi will be increased-all of which will reduce in a re rating of our SP,even if we issue more shares for an acquisition

Well,our new substantial contract is supposed to start delivering this month & we haven't yet received confirmation that the contract has been signed,the only positive being that we have also not been advised that it has fallen through. Hopefully substantive news will be released soon,but as previously stated,if we are to issue new shares in respect of acquisitions it would clearly be to our advantage to do so after confirmation of the substantial new contract,as our SP would rise & the new acquisitions would cost less. Let's hope that this is the week

Interesting to see a share sale of 406,988,but more interesting to see who may have bought them. Market makers will hold little or no stock & someone,therefore,must have bought 406,988 shares. It would be great to hear confirmation of the signing of the 10 year contract & to receive a trading update,all of which may happen before the forthcoming General Meeting.

Interesting to note that we may need up to 30 mill to complete the acquisitions(plus some cash) inferring a total value of about £5mill(assuming that new shares are issued @ 15P).While not constituting a reverse takeover they will,nevertheless,be quite substantial(ie relative to our current size). The economies of scale resulting from all manufacturing being from Haydock should be substantial & if ,following due diligence,these deals happen,they could be transformational (again) for CRU. If production under the terms of the 10 year contract is due to commence by next month,contracts clearly must be signed very soon,or we may have to assume that the deal is off. CRU could soon be & perceived to be a very different company from the CRU of a year or 2 ago .

So,we are in discussions with 2 potential acquisitions,which ,by definition,must be "bolt ons" as they dont constitute a reverse takeover,to be funded by a combination of cash & new shares. This is,of course,good news,but surely it would have been better to have made the announcements after confirmation of the signing of the 10 year supply deal,as this would have boosted our SP ,thereby making the cost of the acquisition involve the issuing of less shares. Lets hope that the 10 year deal completes as ,in my opinion,that is likely to have a bigger impact on our bottom line & SP than the 2 acquisitions under consideration.

If the agreement is signed & announced shortly together with a positive update on trading for the first 6 months & the expectation of further improvements over the remainder of the year,I consider that our SP could rapidly re rate to 20p +. Pity there is such a small market in this tiny company with a very small free float,resulting in a large spread & inability to buy small numbers of shares.
