Interesting indeed Cyanide.I reckon Neiman are possibly either in Administration or are conducting their own Asset liquidation.Also interesting that JG referred to increasing our turnover by £4mill from £18mill,although our previous turnover was around £17 mill & that included CDs,DVDs etc.Hopefully the tote contract will run for 10 yerars & if our first order is £1.1mill ,to be delivered in 6 months,it is not unreasonable to expect over £2mill pa from that source. Surpised that our SP has not responded positively but if it remains suppressed I may buy a few more as a net divi of 5% from a share which could re rate over the coming months is tempting.That said I view my investment here almost like a Private Equity investment due to its lack of liquidity & I reckon I will only sell when JG sells the company to a larger competitor,in due course

Seemingly only shares being sold since yesterday & it may be that some PIs received more shares than they expected (I( did not expect to receive all of mine)& are forced sellers as they have over committed.If Shore Capital are selling more shares in the hope of buying more back at a lower level,the only way to try to boost our SP now would be for Alberto to sign off on the Resource Upgrade.It would also be helpful if it is announced that Alberto & other Directors (other than the ones we know about) declare substantial increases in their holdings.

Now were are talking growth !Assuming all pans out as expected £3mill of additional turnover ( & related profitability) for an outlay of £500k to utilise more fully our Haydock facility sounds like a great deal to me .The issue of only 1750 new shares is also very attractive & should result ,in time,in an increasing SP & an increasing dividend.Now I know why I have built up a decent stake here.

Sirius raised £15mill on 11 March @ 7p & its SP subsequently rose to 24p by early June on the expectation of their proposed Potash mine in Yorkshire proceeding.A planning hitch over the last few days & the SP has fallen back to 14p,valuing their project @ $500mill & they do not yet have full planning,finance has to be obtained,a vast amount will need to be spent on creating a mine from scratch & the associated infrastructure ( include an underground tunnel of about 23 miles), & their mine,if it ever opens for business will not open for several years.I appreciate that,currently,it may appear that Potash will be more in demand & a more valuable resource,but we are good to go & valued at $200mill-crazy or what.

A SP of 4.75p values our mine at about $200 million & while having no expertise in the valuation of mines,that seems cheap to me when all relevant assets are considered,ie ,the land itself,the CU resources (soon to be upgraded) held within the land,50% of the gold in the tailings, crushing & other mining equipment (replacement cost for which probably exceeds are MCap alone).I appreciate that there are now about 3bill shares in issue,but a large % are spoken for & will not be for sale short term & once the resource upgrade is known I would hope that our SP will drift upwards to reach a new level of fair value,which will,of course,be aided by a firmer CU price than we have seen of late.

Thanks Mr O.Did your dog mention how many shares Alberto bought?I was not expecting to receive all that I asked for ,which leaves me with a bigger stake than expected.A resource upgrade,a firming Cu price & a SP of 10p would make me a happy Xmas bunny.

Hopefully the funds will have been raised before the end of the week when the results may be announced together with a trading update & acquisition news.$180 mill of Loan Notes does not preclude the issue of GBO shares in respect of acquisitions as long as the result will not be dilutive.Lets hope that the acquisitions in question are considered by The Market (particularly in the US) as transformational & increase our exposure substantially in the US

The tote contract has started with an initial order worth £1.1mill ,to be fulfilled between Aug 15 & Jan 16,with more to follow-great news & bodes well for the 2016 outlook statement,in due course. Volume is minute in CRU but someone has been buying 10k shares a day for the last week or so & while being hardly the insider deal of the century it does look like someone in the know has been quietly buying a few shares AIMHO,as ever.

So where did it go -we were expecting another RNS today? Optimistic view that the Rump RNS will be tomorrow together with an impressive resource upgrade-but probably wishful thinking.

It will be interesting to see how many shares Alberto & Senior Management applied for & received

Almost certain that you want get all you asked for -I reckon max 5-20% of the amount requested.

I too applied for about 10 X my entitlement but don't expect too many new shares.Interesting to see how many new shares Alberto & the Board may acquire.Truth is the current premium to the placing price is so small that anyone seriously wanting to increase their exposure can simply buy in the market

You have to have the funds in place to cover the amount of shares applied for & the balance will be credited back to you once the numbers have been calculated & new shares issued

As much as we are growing strongly around the world & consolidating our US bridghold we do still have business in Greece which could be affected by Grexit,although I know that GBO have stated that Grexit would be marginally beneficial.Last year we signed a 7mill Euro deal with Greek Govt Dept & we still own 49% of our Greek Associate which still owes us in respect of the final instalment of our loan to them to buy 51% of our stake,which is not due to be settled until Dec 16.In the absence of contract news & with very weak Markets over the last week it is hardly surprising that our SP has come off.

Ash-We can agree about the merits of investing in GBO & our substantial potential,but I beg to differ regarding Greece . I am neither Greek (or Turkish) but believe that Greece should have not joined when it did.Greece proportionately high State pensions ,historically at a very early age & its record in respect of tax collection is abysmal.The mess that they are in is the fault of successive Greek Govts & the EU for saddling them with a strong Euro (for many years),but the people have a greatdesire to retire young,funded by the state & pay as little tax as possible.I also suspect that most wealthy(& patriotic) Greeks have moved their wealth offshore(from Greece) further exacerbating the problem. A lasting solution to the problem is needed & I doubt whether switching the Euro with the Rouble will be helpful.

Following the successful Institutional placing & the expected substantial demand for the few shares offered to PIs I expect our SP to continue firming up ahead of the resource update,assuming Markets & the CU price remain stable
