- Yes they can for as long as the process (that has not been delayed by the way) takes. This is why the shorters are winning. The shorts will close before an outcome is announced and given the lack of liquidity I would hope it to spike nicely.

It is regretful that we all missed a bull rally waiting for this, but the world markets have levelled off and we can get a deal done before the outcome of the US election it will be great to take part in another US rally.

A bid does not need to be announced if it is seen as materially undervaluing the company. Mr Scruff (no relation to me) indicates an "outcome" as he puts it to be announced within the best guess of within 2 weeks but certainly not tomorrow and shorts to close at some point this week.

The current drawdown of the warrants is small. I presume they are for maintaining costs associated with admin. Anything large can be used to participate in VC/Private fundraising rounds of new and existing holdings.

If the NAV goes up the 4p price of warrants will they become a diluting factor in our investments and I would hope that these would be negotiated.

NAV of listed private equity in general or non-tech sectors have a wide discount. You have to do a like for like comparison.

PHS good performance looks odd given the sectors so I will stay away, but the discount is about right given the non-tec/healthcare sectors and generally the inaccessibility of PHS to retail investors like me.

PIN when compared to HVPE should possible be 15-20% discount.

I can not find the NAV anywhere. From my own quick look of the last results, the NAV is £2.2 million with a market cap of £4.8m a staggering 118% premium. I think the Baillie Gifford won't run the risk of money flowing out of their funds into PIRI. Unless I am badly mistaken.... I wish you all good luck but the premium is way to frothy for me.

Been lots of large sells this week that has dragged the share price well under the 148p. I would suspect that after this seller clears we will be over the placing price and confirmation of our stake in You & Mr Jones is the world's first global brandtech group. Followed by a NAV update and long-awaited update to the factsheet.

ABC will have no idea of any bids. Lots of shorts this week so clearly they know an outcome (or bid) was not expected this week because certain criteria have to be done first by either the AA or the PE. When these shorts close an outcome will happen at any time.

phenomenonnick, thank you. I will dig out the reports. The next issue preventing me taking a stake in this is liquidity and timings of NAV reports that in time would either become clear or known. Current holding MERI and GROW so this is right up my street.

I have not had a chance to go through the annual report so thanks for the overview Steph. One major holding is Trustpilot that has become a major brand of user ratings. They are everywhere. My company uses them. Then another major holding is Graphcore a leading provider of AI chips leading even nVidia in AI and a successful UK chip company. Questions over the quality of the holdings not holding spaceships and electric cars are indeed unfair.

MERI's growth trend while not sustainable is still conservative amongst it's sector piers. The next quarterly NAV update will not be for some time but at the current rate everything is looking promising for more gains by the end of the year. I have added some more today at the placing price and hope the share price stays low before I can free up some funds by the end of the year.

ABC are clearly in no rush as unlike PI's the timescale is far more protracted than we had all presumed. Me included. Hoping for new on Monday but this could take another month.

Again jamesbond0071977 echos a wildly held belief is not true reason for the SP collapse as the debt was transparently their for institutes to buy when listed. The AA just did not execute the plan.

TheStealer, your view and that of the staff is just not quite correct. When the AA floated it was bought by institutions who are able to know if a share trades at unrealistically high levels. While the dividend was unsustainable it became more unsustainable because The AA did not follow the plan set out and made available to the institutions. For more details on this plan you need to look at the structure of the AA.

Also, your valuations on a debt-free AA are too low.
