(Posted last year on expected news, but am putting back up anyway, to say Merry Christmas and very prosperous new year to all genuine holder and useful contributers and your families x)
RIP JT
Twas the night before Euasiamas, when all through the threads,
derampers were stirring, or trying their best.
The botflies were hung, by the balls with care,
In hopes that St Dmitry soon, would be there.
The holders were nestled, all snug in their beds,
While visions of shorters toasting, danced in their heads.
And Tilly and Tigra, and Ian and Mac,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.
When out on the morn' there arose such a chatter,
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.
Away to pc windows, I flew like a flash,
Clicked open the RNS and checked out the cash.
More news of our land, and what's beneath the snow,
The Bod gave value to objects that lay below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But another RNS, and a Sale price so dear.
With little time to think, so lively and quick,
Shorters everywhere were feeling sick.
More rapid than eagles, herds of punters came,
Some still whined, and shouted, and called others a name!
"Now Monchy! now Semonsky! now, West Kytlim and flanks!
On Palladium! On platinum! on Rhodium and on Gold too!
To the top of the table! to the top of the wall!
Now cash away! Cash away! Cash away all!"
And then, in a twinkling, I heard the proof,
The big boys buying, price through the roof.
As I drew in my head, the zeroes, big and round,
Down came the reality...five English pound!
My eyes-how they twinkled! My dimples how merry!
My cheeks were like roses, nose like a cherry!
My fingers and toes, feeling so numb,
As the beard of my chin was covered in rum.
I was happy and pumped, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw it, in spite of myself!
Pound signs in my eye and a dream in my head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
I spoke not a word, but went straight to my work,
And wrote out my resi, while hiding a smirk.
And laying my finger aside of my nose,
Gave a nod to my team, and had it off on my toes!
I ran to my car, to my team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
They heard me exclaim, as I drove out of sight,
"Happy Eurasiamas to all, and to all a good life!"
