Sorry if I am taking this in the wrong context but since 2020 lost benefited? at least in the shorter term

Tech stocks and many stocks in general ballooned beyond belief, especially in the months following the vaccine news late 2020

Collectibles of all sorts like watches, pokemon cards, numismatic coins etc values increased tremendously

Cypto has been pretty unbelievable

Its only in the last few months things have cooled down and started to pull back

Apparently the same trick could be done to Tether, which has widely been talked about as a scam for a long time; if Tether collapses too.. that will really be something

The whole range of 2022 has been pretty much 12.80-16 ish so not too far under that now

Looking at the bright side If SP was 20p now I wouldn't be interested in selling, at least this is a nice opportunity to top up, so for now its better lower than higher

Yes I too feel gold (and everything pretty much)in the immediate future will be coming down, aside from the dollar

But the worse things unravel the better gold looks longer term and I have to say despite my average being above 12p here I feel no emotion to the SP falling other than I would like to add at the right moment

At the moment it looks like it wants to touch the bottom again, maybe it wont, maybe my lines are wrong who knows, but I personally will be looking for ~11.50 to act as support if it does drop there

Well my view is (in hindsight) 38p was overbought and now 12p is very oversold, but 11.50 looks possible now in the short term

But no on my previous post was more commenting on today and more recently.

I know people say technical analysis is bs (yes often people who talk about charts are bsers) but these patterns and areas of support(buying)/resistance(selling) are undeniable

March 2020 was the turning point for me, big QE, me = very concerned, what does this mean? and then I learned what the Fed do in QE.. I was shocked, I couldn't believe it, my eyes were opened and I had to learn more

If you actually passionate about this stuff, don't be lazy, go learn about the Eurodollar system and repo market. If you do there is no way you will hold the same views as you do now

My average is now ~ 17p after initially investing at 12p in 2020 and I am a bit worried about February

I'm worried that there will be some kind of finagling of the number where on paper it will look bad until you read the fine print, just like how the numbers of the starter mine were made to look bad despite it being a starter mine and fraction of a fraction

After a year of bad news am I finally going to be happily surprised and a fair number comes in matched by a spike and rebalancing in SP? I hope so but seems too good to be true

Personally I dislike every thread getting derailed by talking about "shorters" its boring

Also the vitriol around *kicking those shorters bottoms* if the theories are true then they got SP from 38p to 12p , they did an amazing job and already won

2022 promises to be a much better year so hopefully we can leave the downtrend and talk of shorters in 2021

I think gold has held up quite well the past 6 months or so considering the dollar has strengthened

Global lookdowns are looking unfortunately likely again, money in safe assets like gold im very comfortable with
