Short answer is yes, with some provisos. Because you are detecting an unamplified signal there is a direct correlation between viral protein abundance and signal strength.
Because details of the test are not known it is hard to gauge just how accurate the measurements will be. Provisos will be dynamic range of the analysis and the nature of the sample prep, sampling as with every method, is also clearly important. What internal standards are being used will also be a factor, if they do 'gold standard' and add an isotopically (C13N15) labelled protein/peptide at the start of the sample prep, if so then the results will be more accurate than an assay without.

They did not say that they increased borrowing facilities, nor did they say net debt had reduced - they said 'headroom had increased' so you can interpret this either way.
It will depend if the 'headroom' is due to debt repayment or increased borrowing facilities , which was the point I was making (obviously not very well!)
From the comment 'cash inflows have been strong' I think that it is likely that it is debt reduction. As we have not had consolidated accounts since the merger it is hard to know what the level of debt was in the first place...
If they have reduced debt then there is more chance of a divi.

On the assumption that 'headroom on our bank facilities has increased from £234m at the end of April 2020 to £291m' means a reduction of net debt (rather increased loan facility...) then this is a total of 90m since Feb when the figure quoted was £200m.
It is a shame that they phrase it in this way as it makes it less transparent, I guess we find out on the 16th.
Had it not been for covid the merged company would have been close to entry to the FTSE250, so once covid is behind and the incorporation of the repair workshops is complete I think this will again be a realistic prospect and will help push the price up.

It is hard to see how this can fail to be a good long term hold. Due to demographic trends, this year has the lowest number of 18 year olds in the country since 2008.
After the low of 700k this year, numbers start to increase by approx. 25k p.a to 860k over next 6 years and then are currently predicted to peak at 970 in 2030.
The combination of fewer jobs, limited travel opportunities and elevated grades have mitigated this years demographic impact. Compared to this point in the cycle last year, UK UG students numbers are up 16k, EU are only down 1.5K and the RoW are up nearly 3k
So the small decline in EU students is more than compensated by an increase in students from RoW which is now also at its highest ever level.
Looking on Scape bookings are going well, although still lagging last year as students wait nearer to the start dates to book. Large and medium sized rooms are nearly all full at all sites and the smaller ones are filling up

They did say in the Q&A after the conference call that if they had not delayed the results that they would have had to have made a large provision because of debtors. These have now been settled so this may have, in part, been the reason for the original delay (but not the more recent jiggling about).

Other points-
Revenue target is 55m+ this year so probably not quite hitting their 60m benchmark, but then it has been an exceptional year.
They perhaps rather surprisingly , do not seem to have not done as well from their online channel as I had expected and so are still looking to buy into this with an acquisition of possibly up to 10m.
Lots of detail about the complexity and cost of dealing with covid which was quite interesting - cost was about 700k - and they would not need to have bought hand sanitiser... This has been offset by a one off NHS contact which has now been extended to January.
As always Pippa comes across very well, I think that it was a good decision to promote her to Joint Deputy MD earlier this year.

Over all it seems like they are doing OK with the ambition to keep growing toward a 100m Mcap

It was not on the Russel indicative list so I assume that the corporate action excludes its elevation even though its MCap ranking would be enough to gain entry.
At least it keeps it simpler this way and means that the rise today was not just index linked.

It looks like they have kept the momentum going forward - very strong trading update.

This should go into the 250 at the next rebalance which will, I assume, be ahead of the merger. Not sure how this will play out on the share price as rws is listed on aim I guess the indexes funds will have to buy in but then will they reduce from rws post merger? .

They get paid for running them. The government have given extra funding for this.

It looks like the return to schools could mean even more buses than last year. From our local authority-
Some bus journeys will now be running as ‘dedicated schools’ services’. This means they will only be available for young people to board if travelling to and from their place of education. The general public will not be able to use them, and, in accordance with government instructions, the current capacity limits will not apply…..
Unfortunately, when these services are full students will need to make use of the other services that serve their school. These services, which are open to the public, will still have to adhere to the current strict social distancing rules with a reduced capacity. However, some of these bus journeys will be shadowed by another bus running behind…..

There will be a lot of this going forward and nex stands to gain. It is not only in the UK but in all of the other countries that they operate. First Student looking to exit the US will offer a lot of opportunities for them to grab further market share there.

I am sure that there will be. These results include the large amount of low A$ hedges in the first quarter. In the UK conference call they were talking about banking waivers that will allow them to reduce the amount of hedging required for the loans to take more advantage of high spot prices.
The call was also interesting in explaining how they hope to offset tax and royalties in Mali against their vat payment.

Main points from this.
Production /ASIC still on target . Sulphide recoveries still over 80% , although still targeting 85% looking at the balance between greater throughput and higher recoveries to achieve maximum gold production.
They are confident about the situation in Mali, their office in the capital was only closed for one day and courts etc are open and functioning. Vat situation in Mali still not resolved.
Along with the plan for Tabokorini, it sounds like they are going to have a positive announcement about mineral resources during the next quarter both in Mali and elsewhere.

Back in this again now that they have released Keita. Still a lot of uncertainty, but also the potential for a good upside if the results are on track and the situation in Mali is stabilising.

I think that the combined company could have good potential going forward- I will probably buy back in once the price has settled.
