Except for allowing shorters' to close their positions I cannot see what benefit it would have to 'railroad' the SP. Any ideas?

If it is still rangebound by next Thursday (pay day) I'm topping up 2,850 to make a nice round 300,000 holding. 250k was meant to be my ceiling but I am a sucker for EUA :)

Plus the current ACF report does not include Rh outside of WK or Ir in any of our projects. Both these are many, many thousands of dollars an ounce.

BTW, I believe there will be a royalty payment scheme for the JV areas and we will all not only get a large dividend initially but substantial and growing annual dividends going forward. This would be 'maximising shareholder value' in my book.

Difficult to do this as we do not yet know what assets are being sold. Assuming it is a full sale (95% with the tailings project staying with us) I certainly expect it several multiples of 25p.

I agree - this Japanese consortium kicked the door down and gave the BOD an offer (in principle) they couldn't refuse. Just dotting the i's and crossing the t's now.

Tilly - Since I cannot hear I had to do my trades via the (slow) internet using a dial up modem. Once, I was trying to sell some Bookham Tech shares at the COP on a day trade as was 10% up but the connection dropped before I could execute.

The next morning everything crashed big time so was locked in.

Thankfully things are much better these days (well, apart from HL, of course!)

Jesus, Capt'n - I remember having shares in Bookham and QXL. Almost put me off investing for life (laughs)/

EUA was briefly mentioned on the AML board by JTMacs the day suspension was lifted and I decided to do some research. Liked what I read and bought in heavily the next day (even selling my AML shares). Started off with a holding of 58k and have built it up to just under 300k since. Up 73% so far.

It is one of three stocks in my portfolio and, undoubtedly, the largest.

NB: 1 million ounces of Pd (assume $3k an ounce even though it will be higher in the near-term) would be $2.5bn after extraction costs.

That would make sense from a taxation viewpoint and DLA Piper/UBS would have have advised the BOD as such.

The BOD are striving to maximise shareholder value so this could well become reality. To be frank, I expect there will be a royalty scheme for future mining revenue from the Kola project unless the buyer of our assets (likely a Japanese consortium) give us a 'bonus' on top of what they have offered for MT & WT, IMO.

There is no way the BOD are going to let the Kola JV go for peanuts.
