Nice to see you are keeping well, Captain.
Like many other trusty deckhands, still here - quietly accumulating golden tickets and have full belief in the BOD to execute the sale of all assets in the current difficult geopolitical situation.
Have a nice Thursday and a rum or three!
Well said, Mont.
Not been on here for a while. Not gone anywhere - just waiting and accumulating. Added 250k myself since the new tax year started - would not do that unless I was confident in my investment.
If we were going to do a fire-sale - it would have been done last year - and for around 10p (based on the Kinross/Highland quick exit, IIRC). No, the BOD are going to get the best price they can for themselves (and us) after 25 years working in Russia.
Back to enjoying the sunshine.
Afternoon Ian, Sax, Tilly et al.
I am in the same boat as Pete. Check in every now and again amidst a sea of green. Holding strong and accumulating as time goes on. Have three times as many shares now before Putin had a brain freeze.
Keep up the good fight for all us genuine holders.
I believe the (BRICS) buyer(s) of our assets will have the option of progressing the other JV areas. Only Nyud was agreed upon before the December 2022 sanctions which forbade any NEW mining investments by UK and EU companies.
NN, if they are interested in our assets, will have to compete with other BRICS companies (or a consortium). This has been mentioned in RNS.
IMO, it will not be as heavily discounted as you think.
Indeed, Ian - in this scenario, one has to spend (the positives amongst us call this 'invest') money to lay a foundation to make much more money.
This is one of the fundamental rules of any business.
Another whom is still holding. Timeline has changed but fundamentals have not.
Topped-up on the way down to bring my average down to just under 12 from 16.5. Happy to have had the opportunity to do that. No more funds left till April.
Have a good Xmas, all genuine holders.
Good afternoon, Saxon.
I am making the most of our extended leave supping and flirting with the lovely barmaid at the Blue Mermaid too.
Throw me in the harbour when the call to arms comes and I'll be on the good ship Eurasia before one can timely yell 'RNS Asset Sale'.
Feet up with a rum.
Indeed, Sax and Les.
Remain invested and adding when funds allow. Belief has never wavered. Just tire of reading (and then filtering) the usual stuff these days.
There are plenty of LTH's in the shadows :)
