Death by a thousand cuts11 Jul 2024 14:38
Oil up, Gas up, Markets bouncing at all time high's and still we plumb lower lows without any recovery/bounce between cuts. We seem to be an industry without an Arthur Scargill for support.
Just perhaps BP and Shell can answer Labour with plain speak, correctly defining the majority of their profits are made oversea's and taxed accordingly by relevant countries. Due to the intransigence of the new Energy Secretary they will be relocating their business's from London to New York and will assess the profitability of their UK assets going forward.
Surely the big boys need to support the second tier UK based Oil & Gas companies that work in the UK sector.
Now how can I instigate a total shut in of the oil & gas export lines into the UK - maybe see if them Oil based paint lunatics Stop OIl can pull it off - bet they all have cars (non electric), gas boilers, lawn mowers and don't live in a mud hut. Rant over - will stick a pin in my Ed Milliband Ouija Doll, although electric shock treatment would be better from a windmill.
