Looks like Odyssean has offloaded its 3.6mill shares in James Fisher now, so perhaps not a bid but turnaround more likely??

Well I've got what I wished for - our new CEO purchasing a substantial amount which defines his confidence with a fair amount of cash from his wallet. Just perhaps the pain is reduced by this aspirin.

Always like a CEO to have more shares than me, so another tranche please whilst I await my dividend payment.

Unless we do a Longboat Energy where they effectively lose half their assets (Norway), retaining their Malaysia prospect, allow their Exec to buy a million shares at 10p and return back to status quo at 20p sp. Now thats what I call a flutter!

Just browsing through some of the holdings on their website and I am amazed at the amount of gas from several fields that comes directly to the UK through our pipeline network to be processed in the UK.

Labour missed a trick here - bet they would love to slap a 30% uplift on transportation costs and processing - after all they cannot turn it off without building their own pipeline across the norwegian trench!!!!!!!!

Wouldn't say we we unhappy raxfactor - more disgruntled. After all we wouldn't still be holders if we didn't see the value here. Personally I did take 100,000 off the table at 143p, so my holding is a free carry to all intents and purposes - with a very handsome dividend each year.

I suspect that is the case with Mr & Mrs Hardy, who bought in at the 4/5p range and they are sitting on a beach by their St Lucia mansion taking the dividend. I hope!!

Like yourself I don't think Mercuria will take us private, offloading some or all of their share holding is always a threat.

My only comment would be theft and deceit have always been around, especially in the O & G smaller companies. Lets be frank these guys carry on with Non Exec appointments and its a cosy cosy coven. Not to mention the salaries they are on and the bonus's awarded for what they are paid for in the first place.

Serica was a diamond in a field of felspar, but is a different beast now and no longer a "family" business - looking at the field not many appeal to me nowadays.

Must say I am glad we are back to where we started, prior to our exit from Norway, where we were a Norway Malaysia joint operation. Cash strapped and our multi millionaire (ex FPM) Directors couldn't spare a penny for their lifestyle company . Graham Stewart still accepting some gravy mind.

Now we are a single entity and a pure exploration company with funding up until Q1/25. (risk?)

Farm outs, drilling brings their own risks - lets hope for a ECO moment with sp going from 16p to 161p, but it took a few years and has never returned to those heights.

Over at Longboat Energy their new Exec Chairman, James Menzies has purchased just over 1million shares in Longboat at 9.75p after its reverse out of Norway and concentrating on its far east licences. Doubled his money in a week!!

Perhaps Mr Cox can aid our share price with an initial purchase of say 100,000 shares out of his own pocket at circa 155p. That would indicate to me he has skin in the game and I would be more than happy with Mr Cox doubling his initial stake!!!!!

Thats their holding of i3e below 3% today after selling circa 800,000 yesterday. Pity that was a bit of gearing for me.

This one starts to get interesting, considering Parkmead is having a pretty dismal time of things with the SP at an all time low, MC of circa £13m and £9.2m in cash as of Dec 23.

They are 50% of Skerryvore licence and operator. Thats provisionally £13m for their drilling costs (Q1-25) with Serica's circa £5m.

Subsea 7 has been awarded by Dana Petroleum a contract between 50-150 million for the installation of a 12" Water Injection Line for the Bittern Field.

As we are the majority owner in Bittern I am assuming this is pack & parcel of the B1z sidetrack we commenced ealier this year - or am I looking at another cost???????????

You have to be with 600,000 Serica shares - now thats painful when you look at where we were 12 months ago, I did sell a fair number at the top of the market but the dividend has held my hand as its a substantial amount.

No buying by Directors, so just perhaps our oversea's investment is imminent in Norway. After all Starmer slimie wants to purchase his gas from there - lets hope its price goes up fourfold and ruins his day.
