22bn carbon capture4 Oct 2024 14:04
God bless him, he's well educated and in top form on a subject matter close to his heart.
I'm no expert, but I'm assuming the CO2 needs liquification ($17 per ton) and for some of these offshore reservoirs, similar to water injection, at 70-150bar downhole.
Add in transportation, etc and we probably get to a figure around $20, similar to our Bruce cost per barrel boe.
Its not cheap.
8.12 billion population at present - perhaps that has something to do with the worlds problems. What to do, what to do?? Barring the drastic, we have tried contraception, china has tried one child only, diseases including covid hasn't effected the upward trajectory. Eat your greens its the only way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
