Not so long back BP had a 5% holding in Serica which paid off handsomely for them on subsequent sale. I have holding holdings in these so I am biased but why not take a holding in SEA, ECO or even KIST. All have oversea's holdings that have the potential to increase their sp in the next 12 months. Even BP was a gift at 380p recently with a nice dividend.

After all this is what we do, so why is a CFO not thinking out of the box. Taking a 5-10% holding in SEA or ECO would certainly put the cat among the pigeons with regard to future moves.

Dennis not to optimistic - don't forget the divi and Kyle/Skerryvore news and god forbid some Directors purchases out of their own bank accounts.

Just keep thinking of your dividend Upomega and the end of this Labour Government. Its not Serica per se's fault. Writing was on the wall a while back and you could have always hedged your bets with BAE, Rolls Royce, Thales and Chemring to offset the lack of Serica sp upward momentum. No politician on either side wanted a wealth tax on these companies.

Regarding the Iranian Oil Company, the earnings have been in escrow for many years now - perhaps Mr Trump and Champagne life Starmer ( a true labour candidate) will sanction Iran and give the monies to rebuilding Gaza - after all they blame Iran for a lot of it.

Apparently we are No10 on the most bought shares for ISA's due to the Triton debacle on their website. All news is good news - keep buying and lets get to No 1 !!!!!!!!!!!

Its a difficult call sometimes Dennis, on when to add. I was tempted when we were at 110p ish but held off as my holding was already substantial and we were doomed!! Yesterday I added feeling we have better times ahead. BP was a steal at 380p recently, but guess which share is the drag on my portfolio -you guessed it, Serica - my gut feel is better times are ahead.

Can't see the dividend not being maintained Megla. Even the Hardy's have added a few more. As I mentioned yesterday - our Directors should have been emptying their wallets yesterday. Lots of holders here bought yesterday, myself included, so a nice 4-5% on paper but painful on our existing holdings. Enquest scares me - been run on a shoestring for years.

Mr Cox was buying at 130-135p - another purchase by any Director would be most advantageous at the moment. Lets see some personal money on the table like us folks.

Added 5000 at just under 126p as a conviction purchase for myself. Can't moan at my Serica dividends going into HRI, up 34% but eventually we will continue our recovery. GLA

Not any gossip in Aberdeen despite crew changes on Triton, with regard to the shut in for the last 20 days. Impressive to say the least. Both Dana and Serica must run very tight ships!!!!!!!!!! Mayhaps informing via RNS could have come earlier with such price sensitive information.

I'm happy enough to hold here, having added in the 240/250 range. OIT bought its holding around 342p, so back in the black. Didn't notice any further purchases by OIT so its all to play for in their regard. Its been quire a journey from 2022, where I considered KidneyIntelex being an excellent product and worth investing in the company. I'm sure their are patients with kidney malfunction in the last few years that would have benefitted from this diagnostic tool. I bought way to early in the cycle (descent) and now have a considerable loss (£20k) for following my heart not my head, but hey ho it offsets CGT gains elsewhere.

I may well add a few and hope they can consider a similar product for liver carcinoma. We are dealing with a rare bile duct form at present that crept up in disguise behind HRT sweats etc and normal aches and pains. These diagnostic tools may well have caught it.

Don't have a holding here, but was aware of the Marram concept and did look at taking a position at 1.5p and didn't like the loan with a coupon rate of 12%. Well done all that bought/held at that level and hopefully you all took a profit and a now on a free ride.

Morecambe Bay/Rivers are late stage and I wonder what turmoil Spirit might do if they adopted a storage strategy, being already connected to infrastructure?? Hope it all transpires as a Barrovian but not for widows and orphans and a fair while for any traction.

SMT holding up 50% from purchase - should have put it all there!!!!!!!!!!!

We seem to have stabilised around the 300p level recently, so Schroders increased holding should support FSJ. Dividend reintroduction would assist our largest shareholder, although they will have to wait awhile methinks. Investment Trust OIT has around £12m (6% weighting) in FSJ as a takeover target, but in todays market capital appreciation would fit the bill.

Whilst Waldorf comments its assets are no longer for sale - perhaps thats just noise. We could always take their 2.5% of Bittern for a flash sale to help. You never know.

On another thought process, just perhaps Hibiscus and Ping Petroleum want to move out of the N Sea and back to Malaysia - Anasuria Assets are pretty close to our Triton hub.

As an old timer here, oversea's assets were pretty much order of the day in the early years from 2008 to 2012 - Norway (Broom), Ireland, Vietnam, Indonesia, Namibia and Morocco. Producing asset in Indonesia but money pit on the rest. Distressed assets in Uk for me.

Then again they can always have my holdings in ECO, KIST or SEA for some oversea's holdings - at a price of course!!

Come July, £13,526,539.00 dividend for Mercuria and £4,249,593.00 for Mr & Mrs Hardy. I'm perplexed that other II's are not adding for the dividend. Volume and sp are the one's to watch methinks, as they may well be below 3%.

Personally buying distressed assets in the N Sea with tax allowances that keeps paying the dividend sounds like a plan to me. Some sort of capitulation on net zero would benefit all and just might remove Mr Milliband. Rachel from Accounts is getting all the flack, whilst Mr Ed has gone silent.

Not good news with Rough Field gas storage running at a loss. May be why we have dropped 5% today, just as our momentum go going.

As a matter of interest D220, have you had it confirmed that Serica shares are applicable as an AIM share with regard to IHT?? I never could get a definitive.

Dividend seems assured and should provide a basis for us returning to the 180/190p arena.
