Find some gold, then make a placing.

There was a stock consolidation few years back. I think the current SP for original holders is something like 0.0011p.

How do they find these investors for the placings. They can't be very savvy.

Yes it's not an investment. Trust in the company has evaporated, to the point where my first reaction to an insider being promoted to acting CFO is one of suspicion. Sad really for it makes a good product.

What happens if the 50% owner gets his assets frozen. I expect that worries the market. Used to be in but glad to be on the sidelines for now.

Seems Hornby are back to discounting again. 3 for 2 on everything for the traders.

Must be due a fundraising/placing/dilution if pattern of past decade remains. They have found lots more gold, the market seems relatively positive, and the gold price has had a large shift upward.

If you live near Clontibret and see a guy lifting a drain cover in the road, it is probably CGNR scientists finding yet more gold.

Indeed, all the clues to the future are in the past RNS with this one. Best not forget the capital reorganisation too. It essentially means the SP has dropped from £4.00 to £0.048 in 5 years, or 98.8% down.
Quite impressive to achieve this and still attract new investor money.

I doubt he'll lose any sleep. In some ways I am grateful to the prof for helping me figure out tech companies.

Step 1. Have something a t least. A potential gold mine or a ride sharing app
step 2. raise finance. Set yourself up with a good salary
step 3. Keep the buzz going by enrolling new users or finding more resources.
step4. don't worry about profits, just keep sucking the money in from new investors to pay yourself. keep the hype high to help new investors ignore the losses.

Uber one day will either run out of investors, or have to raise it's prices to make a profit, then the users will collapse.

Hey all. It's been a while since I looked up Conroy, since the demise of ii forums really. Glad to of found the discussions here.
I invested some 15 years back for a bit then soon figured it out. It's not intended to be a mine. They 'find' substantial deposits, usually once a year, raise some money, pay themselves and carry on.

Shocking that it can go on this long, but it's a good lesson for us PI's. Regulators are powerless. We must identify the good and bad small companies by ourselves. Pointless trying to take action, you'll only give yourself an ulcer.

They do the same with some diamond mine in Norway. Used to be Conroy Diamonds and Gold.
