Vodafone Group broke off a 14-year partnership with Russian operator MTS, following waves of other firms in multiple sectors breaking professional ties with the country, after the invasion of Ukraine commenced.

In a statement, UK-based Vodafone Group said: “Vodafone confirms that it has suspended its partner market agreement with MTS.”

The decision was announced only two months after the two operators extended their partnership to 2023. As part of the deal Vodafone would give MTS access to its expertise in procurement, marketing and network operations. The agreement dates back to 2008 covering those areas but was also expanded to cover a series of joint projects.

Somehow guessing next weeks price direction doesn't seem fun. I'll abstain for now.

It is entirely London Centric, being small serviced offices in good areas of London. It's a quality business that obviously got hit hard in the lockdowns, so the div was slashed. Div level will return as occupancy gets back to pre pandemic levels. Serviced offices are proving popular even with remote working still a thing.
They have a good track record of buying properties and redeveloping to add significant value.
Cap gain is the bigger interest than divs. The enlarged group will have over £10 NAV per share, currently trading at £6.88. £15 within 3 years is not a long shot. Over 100% cap gain in 3 years from a REIT.
The div has always been just a nice extra with Workspace. Should yield about 4% when things get back to proper normal.
Blackrock increased their holding recently.

There will be no 'peace' and quick solution for POLY. Russia have taken a city. ukraine will try their best but will be overwhelmed, and Russia will be a pariah no go zone for a decade at least.

They seem to be critisizing Putin in the annual report, being shocked and appalled at what is happening in Ukraine. Can't imagine their operations in Russia will continue without inteference. What a punt indeed now.

Some hope of this descending into a gorilla war that Russia pull from, like Afganistan. But that took many years. Can FXPO keep operating throughout. I wouldn't put it past Ukranians.

I did say on Friday protect your funds and get out while you can, but wish to revise that to 'determine your own risk tolerance and keep some in if you can afford to have funds trapped for an unknown period'

I'll take that win, as I nailed it to .05p. I am an investing god, till Monday.

Now my problem is I was also going to guess £1.38 for next Friday. We can't all have the same price. £1.37 for me.

With Russian going for the capital now a quick resolution seems unlikely. Get out while you can I would say. There are other safer assets you can park your money in. It's not worth the risk here.
