I've read and re read the latest results and AGY have no debt, are making good profits and are bankrolled by over 70% of their shares held privately so most of these recent movements are a tiny minority.Yes IC gave a sell yesterday so like sheep they have been.Every day for 7 days since the results this was taken down,it was begun by wide spreads last week but has gone on at narrower ones.

yesterdays Harvey Organ article-I trust things till they let me down-said gold re bounds from Monday now the March options are closed we get 3 weeks "unfettered" it said.Unlike you I was 50% down here yesterday,but already the HUI goldmining index has risen from yesterday and the HUI,XAU and GDX all gave golden crosses in March,the first for a few years.The difficulty is still manipulations.My priorities are to clear my losses in the next few months which I hope to do..but I have sufficient gold/silver exposure anyway apart from here..

Since good results its been a week nearly of selling here.Now buys are getting above sells on good volume and the spread is lower.GL

see this www.harveyorgan.blogspot.co.uk I've been trying to broadcast in several places that this seems to myself at least humbly to be the best gold site I've seen for a while.And we can check the forecasts made in it within a day or so.I'm not some fool who believes conmen.. GL

read my 21.23 on POG -if 5% of that article is true,we have no worries-there are things there we can check within a few days we will see..GL

hope you read that article in the Bullion Vault-mentions "high grading"...this is an inbuilt price coreector as follows-not all in the article- Old position-gold price was high so miners processed all the rock at higher extraction costas but still made good profits Now-gold prices lower-to combat this they do "high grading" which is picking out the best nuggets of gold,and throwing all the rock containing minute grains of gold on the gold tailings tip. Self correct-for a while miners profits are kept up by this method as they are selling their best gold,but the mine has limited amounts of these best nuggets so overall gold production falls.Thus gold prices need to rise to compensate.Yes some poorer miners go bankrupt which also cuts gold production more.The end result is unless they accept not enough gold being produced to keep central banks supplied,gold prices must rise.

Anyway read an excellent report on this copyright-at the Bullion Vault dated 3/12/2013 "Gold Mining-Rising Costs.." he says the vital thing is higher cash flows and good cash reserves.I think there is an invisible benefit here from having low country risk though yes maybe more green issues and high wages too.

In the recent Q3 results KGI said all in costs were C$1513/oz. gold-they expect to break even in Q4 and be in profit thereafter..of course now gold is going under $1300/oz.,.the actual cash costs in January dropped to C$839/oz. gold. My view on a delisting in London is they couldn't legally throw us out-we'd have to be given a $ dealing on the Toronto market to replace that/or an option to receive either cash or loan notes maybe ? Comments ? Do you have a source for that rumour ?

concerning about delisting in London-does that mean we'd get thrown out at whatever price KGI is at ? I'm at a whopping loss here having got in last year at higher prices..elsewhere managed to use profits to juggle into not bad averages but here it is bad for me..anyway KGI on a test sell is now sellable..GL

possibly I exaggerated the effect a bit -the first trade- a sell was for £2480 but it tends to be noticed more being the first at that stage,another buy and a sell have swung it a little the other way now.Also at this time near the end of the tax year you get deliberate lossmaking to bAlance the CG books ...GL

interesting today-so far a drop of 9.76% on a spread of 5.56%.Only one deal,a sell of about 1.3m shares,from 187m total,which is quite a sizeable slice of the company..GL

gold has been bad since the 3rd tapering and shenanigans,at least we have the doible top and what looks like a H&S shape being finished off,if it is,it might be heading for about 175-ish first ? As I said for some reason can't trade this maybe it is corporate actions ? Answering my own question lol GL

if the MM's could narrow that spread this could go up ! GL
