To date I still haven't received an answer to my email to PHE. But it may just be a coincidence that TY has made the update. My email went along this line.
Your AGM report from Tim Yeo has gone down like a lead balloon on one of the investor forums that I follow your company on. Its the constant kicking the can down the road with regard to progress yet you state that orders have been placed for special materials etc. And work has started on site. Yet no substance as to the lead times for supply these special materials, who the orders are with etc. With regard to site work. There are forum members who have taken videos of the site progress so far yet its very little to date. Before you know it the birds will be back nesting again. And another holdup will appear. God forbid what would happen if crested Newts take up residence. So how about a bit more information instead of political dodging the real answers. I would still like to hear confirmation as to whom any orders have been placed. Or is it still being worked out how to make commercial sized components.

This reminds me of my young days working on the first earth satellite station for BT at Madley near Hereford. That was a FOAK installation for that type of construction. And you would have thought that the developers of Rader could at least come up with a suitable dish. But no it was bought as a Japanese flat pack and put together by Geordie iron workers. I do wonder if now under this current pandemic. How may engineering construction companies have the expertise and skilled labour to carry out this project? Not many I imagine. And those that do are probably all ready working on other major Hydrogen projects for the big companies already in the field. That's the only delay I read into the project so far. Hold fast and top up if you can. I have so far done that myself. Far better to hold than sell at a loss on just a few words that seem out of place with expectations.

Has anyone any ideas on Lloyds giving out an interim dividend. Struggling a bit on just my state pension as dividends made up the difference between buying meat or going vegan and living off the plants in the garden.

Good point Mark. PHE shares currently issue at 3.95 billion compared to Lloyd's bank shares issued at 70.97 billion. PHE has the opportunity to be a global player. Lloyds Banking group is only a UK player so far.

Off course its fair. The dividend is payable only on the normal risk of banking. The government and tax payer are only covering the major risk of the business that have had to take on additional loans. No bank in the world would give out a loan to a business that has no current income. So the government has taken on that risk only. And yes I do have shares in Lloyds and was angry when the government stopped me getting the dividends that I rely on to pay my pension. As a taxpayer and supporter of British business by way of share ownership I accept that it was the only way forward in this turbulent time.

When you look back over ten years PHE has been steadily going on from its initial highs of up to 22p a share right down to when I bought my first 500,000 shares at one third of a penny. As I see it. This small delay doesn’t amount to anything considering that the likes of Dave Ryan and Co have shown commitment to the process. As now doubt the markets believed it was going to be a sure-fire winner in the long run when it priced at 22p only to lose a bit of faith at less than a penny stock. Have faith gentlemen and just look forward to the UK having a world class method of beating the planet wide scourge of discarded plastic. And dream about all the money you will have to spend in the future.

Hi Kenny again. Many thanks for the link. Looks like I have my work cut out for me just to understand what I am looking at. On the other hand my share owning gut intuition has served me well so far and given me two houses and a pension fund to boot. So I may just stick with that. But thanks again anyway.

I thank you Tom and Wiscos. Two different points of view but very informative in any case. I have to admit that out of my various other shareholdings only DL has saved me from the breadline with their last two dividend payouts. Although Lloyds has just restarted now as well.

Has anyone got an opinion on why there has been very little change in share price. With DL having bought and cancelled so many shares so far. I presume that it is reason to carry out these buybacks.

I don't know about the arrangements that PHE has for currency conversion. But as a small company,when I carried out work on US bases in this county for an american firm I had my bills paid in GBP. So currency fluctuations were not an issue. As long as PHE licences are paid for in GBPs currency fluctuations are a problem for the other guys.

Better than that is the oil companies will have a market in expanding plastics production to offset the reduction in producing petrol and diesel products when electric and Hydrogen fuels become more prevalent. Just think, all those plastics that cannot be currently recycled will be able to produce Hydrogen. A 100% increase in its lifetime use. Plus it maintains jobs in the oil business that has been such a profit maker in the past. We will still need oil for lubrication as well. Unless of course you want to protect your bearings with marge or rapeseed oil.

Yes thank you Dr A. You explained it well. It now appears that I spliced 100.000 of my one third of a penny PHE shares. But unfortunately not just to return my total PHE investment capital. But to be able to live on the profits. And as a retired gentleman of leisure covering the loss of dividends that my Isa shares have been stopped from paying out.

Dr A being a novice to trading terminology. What does the term sliced them up to mean. Many thanks

For those of us who are old enough to use coal or town gas as it was called then. Remember the time of the change over when a British gas engineer came and converted our cooker to run on north sea gas. I was present at the time and recollect the engineer saying that they had to convert it incase any fish came along the pipes from the North sea. I knew he was only joking but he kept such a straight face that I began to wonder if it was really true. For information coal gas was extracted from coal and consisted of hydrogen, carbon monoxide and methane. So it seems that we are going full circle.
