Heron-1 was upgraded to 25Mmbo from 16Mmbo.

Read previous compang presentations....even 10Mmbo discovery is economic.

Heron zone alone could be sitting well over 100Mmbo.
Add Gazelle success to that and current MCap could be multiples of today's crazy low price.

Even before touching Fox and Velociraptor.

300-500 bopd just from Heron-1 well would be great, before they tap into Heron-2, Heron-3....Heron-5 etc.
Combined production from say 5-6 wells could be lot higher.

Add additional bopd from Gazelle if that also comes up as oil discovery. Combined production from both Heron and Gazelle discovery wells could be lot higher.

That would be following same Petrochina model and strategy when they were producing 25,000 bopd from Block 19 at its peak.

We know both already:

* Good porosity
* Good permeability

Both needed for oil to flow to surface naturally. Flow rates are needed to establish, rate of bopd,e.g.
500 bopd,
750bopd
1000 bopd

From memory they encountered 77m column. So they discovered oil. Mike Buck wants to do testing before reporting size of oil discovery in my view, unlike previous management who did not do any testing and drilled well away from source kitchen. We got oil just 1km away from producing Petrochina oil well.

Magic puppy and few others simply been trying to create confusion and fear into some folks selling out cheap, for their lower trade entry price.

In my view we could easily see £100m MCap on positive flow rates from Heron (15p) increasing to circa £150m on Gazelle oil shows (23p) .

Add to that potential Farm-In by Petrochina after Heron and Gazelle success. We could revisit 2017 highs 35-38p next year if all plays out well here.

Would be excellent position to be in producing oil from both Heron & Gazelle and exporting to Chinese refineries before tapping into Velociraptor (200 MMbo) and Fox (200 MMbo) next year.

Success at both Velociraptor and Fox could propel price well over £1.00 next year in my opinion.

Mike Buck was clearly delighted, with the oil shows and results.

Think signs and hints are all there for good flow test results. This could Open up 60-80% Higher from this crazy low price when that next Heron RNS lands. IMO

Then we can get Gazelle RNS also this month anytime.

Some folks would probably just get in at Double the current price coz we know how difficult it is to buy any stock on the day.

Thats the way I see it. Good times coming soon here in my view.

Probably got short positions here spreading negativity to gain a few extra bucks before they close.

Any positive RNS on either Heron, Gazelle or both would give them one in the back side, good and proper...LoL

Flow tests should not take 30 days.

Let's see how much MATD find on their side of the fence in Block 20.

* Heron
* Gazelle
* Antelope
+ 2 other

Block V
* Velociraptor (200 MMbo)
* Fox (200 MMbo)

So lot of action to come here.

Heron & Gazelle could change the future for MATD in a very big way.

Flow rates and this could jump well into Double digits before Gazelle results. IMO

I know your strategy. Why not just wait and see how both Heron and Gazelle play out. I know you are happy to pay higher...coz on success this will be going much much higher than current price.

flow test results in my view could come first before reaching TD at Gazelle.

We already know from previous Heron RNS, both permeability & porosity is very good. Both being important factors in getting oil to surface. PetroChina already been producing just 1km away from same structure. So cannot see why it would be different for Heron. Instead given the sloping down, Heron flow rates could be better than what PetroChina has been getting. Would be quite funny if Matd started sucking oil from their well also ;-)

PetroChina keeping a close eye at Heron for obvious reasons.

Few observations:

If you look at the location of Heron, it sits within just 1 KM away from PetroChina producing well, being part of what clearly seems the same structure / oil field.

Hence Mike Buck called it pretty much an 'Appraisal' well in his interview earlier in the year...he called it 75% CoS even though his body language in the interview suggested much higher than 75%....

Fast forward few months...Heron Spud and Oil shows confirmed...which proved the point Mike was re-iterating in his very interview. PetroChina been producing oil from the same oil zone. Matd just want to confirm flow rates to estimate Bopd. IMO.

Talk about will Heron flow / or not ? To me seems deliberate to provoke fear for weak hands to sell bringing price down for fence sitters to jump in.

I think it's the fence sitters who are fearful of price rocketing higher soon after flow rates RNS.

Same could play out at Gazelle, which has 50-55% CoS as it's just about 4.5km from another PetroChina producing well. Again part of the same Oil structure just separated by the boundary line between our Block 20 and PetroChina's Block 19.

Each to their own investment decision. Scaremongering at its best lately on MATD board. GLA

Heron-1 was within 1km of producing PetroChina wells. Gazelle-1 is 4.5km from their producing oil well. So both looking good from drill locations. We could be producing from both Heron and Gazelle and join in PetroChina's OIL pipeline or trucking route, whichever option they chose.

"The well is located 4.5km southwest of Petro China's T19-46-1 oil well and immediately up dip of this discovery on the western flank of the Tamsag Basin which is the primary source kitchen for the oil fields in Block XIX."

This is going higher...still very cheap entry imo
